i know it sounds weird well but its good low impact on days your knees hurt you can run or walk moving your hands and feet i put a indoor walking dvd lesle samsone in the player to time myself while they walked in floor i walked on back you can also run on your back

>Sorry...having a heck of a time picturing what you are
>talking about!

I just picture a beetle I saw once that had tipped over and was flailing its legs in the air.

I keep seeing a turtle rolled over on its shell, failing it's appendages around. :D

Seriously...I have never ran in the air on my back or even thought about it. I suppose you could do it...just not sure how long you could sustain that - the bicycle for abs is generally over in a few minutes; however, running needs to be sustained for a longer period of time (at least 20 minutes or so) to obtain a benefit. Could you really stand doing it that long?

I am just imagining what the neighbors would think if they were peeking in someone's window while they were doing that. Too funny!

She's fallen, and she can't get up!!:D

This reminds me of when my golden retriever (10 years old) is lying around for hours. I take her front paws in one hand and her back paws in my other hand and mimic running while telling her she should be exercising. She thinks I'm crazy, I probably am!
