Hi Anne, did it just happen or has it been this way for awhile? Once in a blue moon, I will get what I think is tendinitis but if I take it easy for a week or two it goes away and no problem for months. I just wanted to share this to give you some hope. Good Luck!

Hi Anne,
My roommate has tennis elbow. She's going to an accupuncturist for treatment. It's really helped her tremendously.

Yes, you do need to rest it for at least 3 weeks for the inflammation to go away. It took a while for this injury to form and will take a while for it to heal. I know this is tough to do; but is worth while in the long run.

Good luck.

Anne, I would suggest you see a doctor if possible. I didn't when I had that problem last year and I ended up laying off the weights for a good two months. It just got worse and worse.

Good luck!!
Marie

PS: I'm sorry to hear you're in pain!
