I actually don't care if I'm in the "fat burning zone" or higher. I was just making the comment that I'm still burning lots of calories with this workout which makes me happy. Anytime I can burn over 500 calories with a workout that I totally enjoy and have fun with is great. I don't obsess with numbers at all. I'm not a runner and never will be. Even if I could burn 500 calories in just 30 minutes with running, I still would not do it. And I'm not about to go into percentages to figure out fat calories burned. I do know, however, that since I've been doing lower intensity workouts for the last month that I've been losing an average of 1 pound per week. :7
