another dog question for experience dog owners -

Hey .. this is on breeding!

I have NEVER had this happen before .. but never had two inside dogs before either. My two Bordeauxs - Well she is in heat and ready to stand .. she is throwing her tail up and prancing around like a .. well you know .. the male is all interested but will NOT mount her! ???

some history: they live side by side .. in the house .. the first heat I did not want her to breed so they were seperated .. the second heat she had a bad knee and could not hold his weight up .. resulting in some VERY mean behavior on her part ...

this heat she is ready to go .. and he is all frustrated .. doing everything BUT mounting her (God help his poor teddy bear) ...

I have heard of dogs that are kept together developing a sister/brother thing .. but I have never experienced it ..

He will not get around her when we are present .. but outside he sniffs - licks - etc .. but watches the windows to see if we are watching them .. ??? strange ???

any ideas on what to do (besides insemination) .. I really wanted to have them naturally .. and I want a puppy from my male .. but not sure if I want to go insemination .. ???

Have I totally warped my poor male baby?? LOL
