anaerobic threshold

Cathe, in IMAX 2 I think you refer to an anaerobic threshold that we should be at with peak intervals. Is that considered to be about 90% of your maximum heart rate? And what heart rate should you drop down to in recovery-about 60 or 70% of MHR?

Hi Beth! Yes, that is correct. However, for less fit individuals the anaerobic threshold (or lactate threshold) will be lower.
