Amy Bento's Cardio Pump

Hi! I have her Kickbox and hi lo xtreme.

If anyone has this, can you please give me a quick review and recap of the workout?

Did you do the hlx and kbx. I just got in the mail yesterday and want to try out tonight but don't know which one to do and also I think they are around 90 min ?? and would like to do something not longer than 70 min that is challenging and motivating! If anyone has suggestions for both of us would greatly appreciate :)

In regards to Cardio Pump - It is a shorter workout, about 50 some minutes, and it starts out with a short, hi impact, intense hi/lo segment, then it is followed by a weight segment using dumbbells, tubing, etc. It is not my favorite Amy workout, but there are premixes to make the workout longer ( ie double cardio, etc..)
Of this series I probably like her Bootcamp dvd the best.

HLX and KBX are about 70 minutes from start to finish,( don't quote me on the exact times ), the cardio portions being 60 minutes in themselves. Great premixes are here also to lengthen or shorten your workout.

Be aware that Amy does little or no breakdown, and HLX is higher impact. Some people have issues with her kickboxing ( believe me, these posts pop up under just about EVERY Amy thread, just in case you forget for a few minutes..;-) ).

I like her and find her refreshing and spirited, and I see a very bright future for her in the DVD industry.

I really like Cardio Pump Step and Cardio Pump Hi/Lo a lot! They are both around 50 minutes and the both pack a whole lot of punch in under one hour. They both start out with good warm up's then right into short, sweet, sweaty cardio followed by short, sweet, total body pump. I find them fun and effective when I want to hit a little bit of everything but am running short on time. I would actually like to see more of this format from Amy in the future, maybe 60 to 70 minutes with longer stretching and more ab/core work.
