Amy Bento, is misspell, sorry about that.

I looked at the new videos coming and saw Amy Bento. Are my eyes playing tricks on me or is she bigger than usual? I've never seen her this big.

Did anyone order her new DVD's Hi/Lo Dynamics and Adv. Step Challenge 4? If so how are they?

I pre-ordered ASC4. Haven't received it yet--I think it's supposed to ship this week?

The first 3 ASCs rocked!

According to her facebook page, they are shipping tomorrow. I give her a lot of credit for filming the new workouts even though she may not feel she's back to pre-baby size.

I'm very excited about the new workouts.

She posted this on facebook:

A few comments...this is not what I consider really complex it's probably the least complex. Also pweeze be kind ...I had a baby 4.5 months ago when we filmed :p My baby lumps didn't disappear completely:p (and I am your modifier which hopefully helps
some of you out there)!

I figured it was something like that. All the more power to her. I'll have to watch more of the DVD's before I purchase them. It sounds like they are keepers.

Yes, kudos to Amy for putting herself out there, being filmed when she might still be feeling a little self-conscious and letting everybody know this is what a post-pregnancy body looks like in real life, More power to her. I admire her.

I just watched the clip of her new aerobics DVD. Wow.Looks TOUGH!! I am so glad she had the confidence to get right back out there despite not being back at pre-baby size. I have three little boys, and it typically takes me about two years to lose my baby fat. And as I have gotten older, it has taken longer. But the whole time I have considered myself an advanced exerciser. I think it's so important for everyone to realize that fit isn't a particular size. So I am really glad that Amy got out there and kicked butt despite the fact she's not a size 2 right now. It's refreshing. :)

I am curious. If it turned out that Amy had NOT had a baby recently, and had just been enjoying a few more calories, would most people think she should not be putting out another video becuase she's not a good role model or something? I am quite a bit larger than Amy even in her postpartum state and am fit, happy and healthy. I get tired of the assumption that exercise video instructors should be thin to be considered competent and inspiring.

If there's one thing these new DVDs show it's that you don't have to be super-thin or overly-sculpted to be in damn good shape! Amy's fitness level rocks! To put out exercise DVDs, it isn't the aesthetic shape that matters, it's that you be a role model for fitness. Amy certainly is.

Diane,

If I didn't know what body shape she (Amy) is, and she didn't have an excuse for gaining that fat, then I most likely wouldn't purchase from her until she lost it. I think being a role model is important in fitness.

We all have different body shapes, it's what you do with it that counts. In Cathe's DVD's her crew is an excellent example on the variety of body shapes. They all stay that way, with lean wonderful muscle and bodies to die for.

Preferring one body shape over another for instructors is just up to the individuals out there who relate with them.

You should see my sisters ...but they don't workout, at all. Big difference.
