Amy Bento?

Cathlete
I went to the cksales website with intentions of ordering Cardio Fusion ( cause its the only cathe workout I don't have) and i also came across some of Amy Bentos new workouts. When I am ordering workouts I always like to order more then one cause it gives me more to look forward to:)
So, are her workouts any good? The cover looks good and she is in awesome shape but is she as tough as Cathe? Is she super energetic like Mindy (which I could take or leave)? Ive made the mistake of ordering other workouts before and never using them b/c they don't compare to cathe.
Anyway, any thoughts?
Lori:)

I am enjoying Amy's workouts. They are slightly less intense than Cathe workouts and she isn't as chatty as Mindy but I still recommend her workouts. You can see clips on her website nrgfitness.com

I will cut and past a reponse I made just yesterday on VF regarding Amy Bento:
I have recently acquired 5 of Amy's workouts.
Advanced Step Challenge is short, fun, intense, and somewhat complex and I love it. This is a first offering from Amy and the music/production could be better (and HAS improved immensely in later workouts), but a total keeper. I have to MAKE myself NOT do it too much. The total time is around 40 minutes but the power up section adds maybe another 7 minutes. It is a little on the short side but so, so good.

Cardio Pump Step - from her second batch of workouts. Love it!!! Short, sweet, and sweaty step and short, sweet, and sweaty total body toning. Some different twists to a few moves and I like how the legs are worked in this one. Shoulders aren't worked outright in this one. This workout packs a lot of punch in 47 minutes.

Cardio Pump Hi/Lo - again, short, sweet, and sweaty hi/lo cardio followed by short, sweet, sweaty pump. The total body is worked in around 47 minutes. Tubing is used in this one and I feel the burn.

Kick Box Extreme -fun and interesting combo's with fun and interesting intervals. Awesome cardio workout with kickbox flare. Really nice music and awesome premixes.

Hi Lo Extreme - fun, fun, fun, somewhat complex hi/lo cardio (but not too complex) with intervals. Awesome music and premixes that include most of the footage from All Pump Extreme.

KBX and HLX are well over an hour. I love all five workouts. I tried All Pump and A team Boot Camp (someone loaned them to me) and I didn't care for them. All Pump is definitely easier than her other workouts in my opinion. I'm totally looking forward to Advanced Step Challenge 2, especially since it doesn't sound like Amy is changing her step style and it will be with the improved music/production on par with her current offerings and probably longer...I hope! Again, I like long workouts, but I can't believe the punch packed into ASC, CPS, and CP Hi/Lo in around 47 minutes. These are three of my current favorite workouts! I didn't like the way Amy got her name out there and wouldn't order workouts from her for the longest time because of that, but I'm glad I reconsidered, b/c a great workout is a great workout and she is delivering!

I really, really love the workouts I have and I do find Amy as tough as Cathe (with the exception of Cathe's Imax's). Amy's music and production and premixes are GREAT in her newest offerings, but I can't say enough good things about the first three workouts I mentioned. Her step style is more complex, taught with little to no breakdown, yet intense and I LOVE that!

I can only comment on the Kickbox Xtreme and I've really enjoyed the workout. Her form is looser than Cathe's and she moves quickly through the moves so there is a bit of a learning curve. With that said, I really get a good cardio workout. I'm not gasping for breath like I am during some of Cathe's w/o so it's a nice change of pace. The music is awesome and gets me through some of the higher intensity intervals.

HTH,
Terri
