American Idol....

I wouldn't say Taylor can't sing, he just isn't singing the right songs lately. He can sing, but his moves are not cool, but that is just his dorky style, he doesn't seem to be fake so let him have some fun, and I still believe it is important to be who you are, even if it doesn't impress anyone else.
 
Oops! Do we have short memories, or do we all remember what Ray Charles looked like when he was performing? What would we call him were he on American Idol today - a blind freak, perhaps? Smooth moves do not necessarily a good singer make.

Taylor seems to be imitating Joe Cocker (before he got on good meds?) But I think it is an imitation, and not some spastic reaction that he can't help (which is what I think it was with Joe Cocker).

Anybody remember Joe from the 70's, when he was really spazzing out? Anbody know what it was from?
 
I loved Chris last night, I love Chris every night, he is too much!

Mandisa was not on her best game last night and I was dissapointed with her, I really like her.
Kelli needs to go home, I am over her she is not that special and I am from TX too and we don't act like that.

Kathryn sounded great last night. I like her too

Ace-no so over Ace, why is he still there...oh yeah that's right teenage girls, umm hello he had me at goodbye with the Michael Jackson song.
Paris- She is too cute, but picked a bad song.
Elliot-still like him, he is all right
Bucky- he was too cute and he sounded good IMO

who did I leave out???
I think Ace should go home, but don't know who will go home, it will be interesting!

Ok, so Mandisa didn't have her best perfomance this week, but to be "voted off the island"!!!! Wow, was I in shock. I thought for sure she would be in the final 3. I think Elliot, Taylor (even though I really like him), or Ace should have been dismissed before Mandisa.

What a shock1;(

woah, I was kinda shocked Mandisa got the boot for one bad song. I think, however, she does not have that same likeability factor as Taylor, which is a huge difference. She'll do really well for herself in any respect. Ace won't be far behind the boot. He's got a decent voice but there's is something kinda weird and perverted about him ;P To me, I like Bucky's genuine feel much better, even though he's not the same kinda hottie. I think America likes that. Same with Elliot.
