AMERICAN GLADIATORS returns to TV!!! Any fans???????

:D How thrilled I was to see the return of this show! The contestants and gladiators are so inspiring. I always wonder who I would fare against the gladiators! I'd probably get my butt creamed! There is no way I could make it up the pyramid or finish the eliminator:( But I sure could give it my best shot! Maybe Cathe should give it a try, I bet she'd give them a whirl!:D

I LOVE this show and remember watching it when I was a kid (how long ago was that? lol). I've got it DVR'd and ready for action!

I'd like to think I'd knock Blade or Bandit or Pepper right off that tower and into the water! lol

I read the last one was out in 1989! I thought it was older than that though. I loved it then and it looks great now. Makes me want to work out!
 
I watched this show back in the 80's when it first came out, but I stopped watching after a few seasons because the gladiators kept getting bigger and bigger. At times the gladiators would out weight the contestants by 50-75lbs and I just don't think that is fair in any of the events that they actually had to make physical contact with each other.

I meant to watch last night, but I forgot.
 
I'll admit that I watched it last night! And yes, I used to love it back when it was popular the first time! Big hair & all!!

My dh told me that I need to get on that show & kick some Gladiator butt!! }( I wouldn't mind the grand prize that's for sure!! ;-)
