Am I the only one with a cold?

Am I the only one with a cold that will not disappear? I dragged my way through Xpress Step and Intervals. Forty-five minutes was all I could muster.....will my nose ever stop dripping!!!!!!!!???????????
I need a remedy...cough, cough, cough..........

Hello,

Yesterday I had to stop halfway through CardioKicks-due to my cough and cold. I should have listened to my body in the first place, but didn't and felt worse afterwards. I am feeling much better today but gave myself a day off and will resume my workouts tomorrow.

Truth be told ... I'm feeling pretty crummy today too, and I NEED to get better. I have two 12 hour nights in a row starting tomorrow, and I need to work them. Sigh ...

I'm sorry you are not well. I had my cold a month ago, really foul one. The only thing that worked? Rest and sleep . Please take a week off from working out: exercising with a bad cold can be flogging a dead horse. GIve your body a break, before it breaks!!!

Lemoncustard...I just got over a cold (thankfully in time for Thanksgiving!). Anyway, I completely stopped working out except to do some stretching. I actually only missed about 4 days, then the first day back I walked on my treadmill instead of trying to go all out on a Cathe tape!!! It is 10 days later and I am over it and back to my regular routine. I would give yourself a break, you'll recover much faster. Hope you feel well soon!
 
Thanks for all your get well wishes. Usually, when I have a cold I continue to work out because I find that the increased respiration and body heat helps me break up the congestion. Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow....I have to go to work and a class at night. At any rate, I have to recover before the new DVD's come!!!

I like you icons. I also have a nasty cold. Came down with it the day before T-Giving and it just won't quit.

Nope Lemoncustard...I woke up yesterday with a nice head cold thanks to my 13 yr old daughter.
Today I start Cathe's May Rotation and pray I can do Body Max.
Just took some Dayquil and here's hoping it does the job . I'm off to get into my workout clothes. :)
 
Our family is passing around the cold bug as well. :(

I haven't really had a bad congestion problem, but I've lost my voice almost completely. It started with a sore throat and progressed from there. I rarely let illness keep me from working out though. I find that I am just more miserable if I lay there and think about the fact that I should be working out, so I go ahead and do it anyway. :p
