Am I am old fogey or what - Low impact circuit makes me sweat like crazy!

I really like LIC - esp the premixes - I combine the lower or upper body circuit premixes with the harder parts of Lowmax for my own special premix - But when I look at the ultimate guide - it only rates about a 7 in intensity! What's up with that - I sweat like crazy when I do this workout plus I feel like I get better results when I do LIC/lowmax premixes, and KPC premixes than if I do the other workouts that have a lot of jumping/cardio and rate a much higher intensity. Anyone else have the same results?
 
Fat burning occurs at a lower heart rate range than really high intensity. That could be why you see better results with less intense workouts. IMAXes raise the heart rate above fat burning level. They are good for increasing cardiovascular fitness though.

At a heart rate that is "fat burning", your body does essentially that for fuel. But at higher heart rates, your body uses faster fuels, such as sugars to maintain itself.

I hear ya, I sweat bullets during LIC too. Its funny I always think I am not getting a good workout unless something is totally hard and hurts afterwards--ie...Interval Max....but this is not the case. LIC is a good example, and didn't I read in the blog or somewhere, that this was Cathe's favorite workout of the series??
