Morning Ladies -

This morning I did Turbo Jam Fat Blaster...intervals on Rebounder...got my HR up to 171!! .....a record for me! I was stoked. I repeated the last Turbo 3 times since it's the one that did it for my HR. I think the key for me is not to let it drop too low on the recovery. I finished off with Mix & Melt Medicine Ball with Mitch Gaylord. My HR hovered at 85% or higher for the remainder of the workout. Nice intense workout. Cardio was 60" and I burned 620 calories.

I don't have to be at work 'till 10:00 am....cuz it's my late night....so I'm gonna try and fit some short yoga in later this AM if I have time.

Have great workouts everyone.

I've tried parts of most of the Melt It Off with Mitch series and I really like them. He's a good instructor and they are fun med ball workouts. Some of them are low impact...but intense and others are a bit more toward the sculpting side with a heavier med ball (not my fave's). I'm enjoying them. They weren't that expensive either.

Good Morning Ladies.

Lora: Glad you are having good work outs again. For a while there you seemed very frustrated with less then stellar sweating time.

Jen: No worries on the BM2 power circuit blasts. The choreo is simple. GO FOR IT!:D

Jacque: Well I am touched that you appreicated my ramblings. Sometimes I go on for so long that I wonder if anyone even reads the entire post! LOL Prebowling was not good. Neither of us did all too well. Oh well. Ya win some and ya lose some, right? Or should I say ya GAIN some and ya LOSE some!? :p

Speaking of gaining...I seem to have found 3 pounds that don't wanna go away! When I get back from vacation I am going to sign up for the trial membership of the nutrition program. I have heard that despite some bugs that still need to be worked out, it's an excellent program. I am already in the habit of tracking with fitday so I know I will use it. It goes above and beyond Fitday's capabilities. I think it will help. My weight gain issue has got to do with my food. I WILL beat it!:)

Well that's all for now...BBL!

Good Morning!

I had an o.k night at work last night. When I lay down for alittle snooze...I had a few interuptions which kind of ticked me off. Tonight the machanic is working with me (the guy I work with normally is on holidays) and he isn't use to working night shifts.Im not sure if he will be awake alnight, OR if he will expect me to stay awake alnight! Wahahahaha! I even cracked myself up at that one!

I am going to decide soon about the race. I think I wanna do it, my only problem is that online registration closed and I don't know how else to do it. Im gonna check the site again to see if there is a # I can phone.

Lora** Glad to hear you enjoyed your workout today! Wow...thats a ton of cals!!! Good for you!

Wendy** Don't even get me started on poundage found! After that wedding last weekend,I wouldn't DARE step on the scale. I finally got on Tuesday and it was 125.7, 2 lbs more then I am use to. TODAY it finally went down 1 lbs. Even when I got off of work today the scale still said 125.7, but I weighed after my nap and it said 124.6. I haven't been trying overly hard, now mind you...but it usually drops faster then that.

Got a question for you gals? What do you think I will accomplish with cardio and 2 full body workouts per week? Im thinking about switching it up some. For a while I have been doing body parts, usually 2 UB and sometimes not even doing LB cause the week zoomed by to fast. I don't want to gain anymore muscle, instead I want to lean out a bit. I was thinking about just trying to maintain the muscle I have and I think 2 full body workouts will do that, plus lots of running, a couple KB workouts (for the core) and some abs.
So I did MM on Tues and I think I am going to do PH today with cardio, prehaps 4DSBC and KB. I don't think I am going to run today, yesterdays run was kinda long and I really need to decide about this race.

Anyway....I will BBL!

Lori

Good Afternoon Ladies. :)

Lori: I think you should add a circuit work out to your new rotation idea so it would be 2 f/b weight work outs, 1 f/b circuit (weights/cardio) and then whatever cardio you are planning on doing. I know you are a cardio junkie so I think you need that extra hit on the muscles to offset that. You can also concentrate on endurance lifting. You won't build muscle that way.

So I did Itread 20/30 mins at the gym this morning. Grace had you run at increasingly faster speeds for several minutes and then take a brief walking break before doing it all again. She repeated this 3 times, changing it up a bit each time. It was a burner. I really enjoyed it!

I am waiting for DS' lunch to be ready. When he's done eating he is going down for a nap. I am too. ;) When I get up it's 4DS Bis and Tris!

I was going to do 4DS Bootcamp cardio tmrw morning but I may make it a rest day instead. I haven't had a rest day in a couple of weeks. I think I need one....

Well, that's all for now...BBL!

Hi Girls!

Back to report my workout. I am dritched with sweat. That Cathe sure does know how to work ya!
I did PH, then a 2 mile run (17:51 mins) 4DSBC and 4DSKB. Im pooped!

Wendy** Thanks for the sugestion. Luckily enough I love circuit workouts so adding one in a week woouldn't bother me at all. I like to do circuit workouts when I have to work a day shift.

Im pretty sure I am running the race! I checked it out online and they have registration set up for Sat from 2-5. I think tomorrow will be a small run, Sat rest and Sun 10 miles....ouch! LOL

BBL, my baby is awake and I need a shower!
Lori

Oh no Lori! I guess it will be super quick shower for you today! LOL Glad you are pretty sure you'll be doing the race. I think you will love it! It's such a great rush to run with other people in an event like that. I am not a competitive person by nature at all but boy oh boy do I get into it when I race! It really pushes me to run faster. :D

Well, my nap was too long so now I'm all groggy and I also have a bit of a headache. I snoozed on the couch and I think I had my neck in a funny position and that will trigger headaches for me. :( I guess tomorrow won't be a rest day after all...unless I am perky after DS goes to bed tonight and decide to hit the weights then. I have to hit bis and tris at some point between today and tmrw though.

Where are Jacque and Jen this today?? I miss Sunny too. I know she is busy but her enthusiam is so contagious! I hope she comes back soon.

Hey all,

Not sure if you'll get back here tonight, but if I have time I'll post it again tomorrow.

Been really busy at work and home - even told two of the VP's that I couldn't finish his project until next week. Course I used my "cutest smile", LOL!

Soooooo. . . no workout for me this AM. Am hoping it will be my only rest day but I just needed to stay in bed a bit longer and get to work earlier than usual.

Have tomorrow off but the dog needs to see the vet (can't hardly walk), I need bloodwork done, got a festival to work at, need to shop for grandson's
1st Bday on Sat, festival again on Sun and still trying to get the house ready for a crowd in a week. Not too bad  Sorry for the rambling, but I don't like not having time to come here and keep in contact with you ladies !

Lora - WOW what a workout for you today. So nice when you finally figure the best way to workout and make a difference ! Go with it for a while and see where it takes you. How's work going lately? And the foodies?

Wendy - I do like to chat and I think we all work pretty well here. Not sure I would have time for all the ladies on the Cheetah post or the OAL group 'cuz I just can't find enough time yet. I am finally getting to the checkins pretty regularly this year and feel it has helped loads. Plus I do enjoy the socializing. I try not to do too much at work so this is one place I can come and get some girlie time in.:p Sorry about the headache, hope you get to do a workout tomorrow if you don't make it tonight.

Lori - hope you are the one who gets to sleep tonite ! I think switching it up could very well help you. I like Wendy's idea of adding the circuit too. I can tell you that I am really happy that I have gotten leaner by doing FitnessFreak366's rotation which is quite different than the NROLW. Still lifting but doing the Cathe DVD's with a little less weight but more endurance and different counts. 2 UB's, 1 LB, 2 cardio days and 1 circuit day. I am loving it. I have added short 3 - 4 mile runs on a couple of the weight days 'cuz I was just feeling like it. You sure did a long workout today if I read it right. PH, run and then 2 4DS? I only wish I had the extra time. Course if I would get my bum of the computer I could probably find more, but then I wouldn't be chatting either ! More time more time more time. I need more time. OK - done.

Time to run off and try to accomplish something. Should be popping in for at least a bit tomorrow.

Hey everyone!!

Sorry I've been MIA today, but I had a really busy day. Work was a little crazy because I'm prepping for meetings tomorrow, and then after work I started helping my sister pack. She's a small business owner who recently decided that she just can't make it in this market and needs to close her doors :( We're all very bummed out for her, and we're pitching in as much as we can. So tonight was packing night, getting ready for the big move on Sunday.

Anyway, I'm exhausted now. But I do have a workout to report. This morning was cardio, 40 minutes, 1/2 HIIT, 1/2 steady state, alternating between the tread and the elliptical. I was in a mindset to just get the job done, so I opted for the machines.

Time for this chica to hit the sack, will BB sometime tomorrow in between meetings and more packing ;) Have a great night everyone!

Jen
