Good Morning:)

Im up early to get my workout in before we leave.Im thinking about doing 4 straight miles on the TM, then do HSC (UB) mixed in with 5 mins runs. So I will actually be doing 6 miles on the TM and the UB work. We will see though, I may get on the TM and decide that I just want to run.
Yesterdays workout was just GS legs and abs, no cardio. I wanted to do some cardio after DS went to bed but I didn't have it in me. I also thought about taking my sneakers with me today and getting up tomorrow morning to go for a run (if I am feeling up to it) but I don't want to be the "loser" of the bunch! LOL But then I keep thinking, what about if I am awake and everyone else is still sleeping? I highly doubt if that will happen b/c I appear to love my sleep more and more with each passing day!

Shirl** Good workout yesterday! I forgot about Sharon. She doesn't annoy me either. I think I use to own a CIA workout with her instructing. I think I found it a little to complicated though. I keep comparing everyone to Cathe and now I don't even bother to buy anything else!

Wendy** Are you looking forward to your weekend? We will have to compare notes when we come back!

Lora** Im really starting to feel for ya! Your coworkers seem to be taunting you with food! And its 10x's worse when you are hungry! Can't they go out to eat?

Jaqcue** I didn't really want a smack up side the head, so i will stop whining now:)

I think that catches me up with personnals! I may get a chance to report my workout but if not I probably won't be back until Mon morning! Have a good weekend everyone. You never know, I may take some pics and post!

Morning Ladies -

Today is my recovery day on WSFL. I opted for the low intensity cardio session. I did Prevention Walk Yourself Fit while listening to my own music, Fuel's Sunburn CD. I did part of it on the Rebounder. Kept my HR in the 50-60% of max range as suggested and only drifted up to 69% a few times. Total cardio was 49" with cool down and I burned 312 calories.

I also tried 10 minutes of a ballet DVD I have (it was waaaaaaaaayy to easy) and then I did Yoga to Go - Zuma Beach 30". Not nearly enough yoga for this stiff body, but I have to be over Mom's early this morning, as she's going to help me put my perfume oil sample packs together for selling. We are also going to the Dollar Theatre to see a "second run" movie.

RE: Work and my coworkers....they never leave their desks to eat. I think they are "money hungry" for Overtime or something. Weird....cuz I was told not to go over 40 hours.....but they do. I don't care any way. I guess I'll just have to "suck it up" and get used to being tempted. Even stranger, the really overweight one is actually trying to lose weight by cutting back a bit (still eats a lot of garbage), but she's already lost 8 pounds........and then there's lil' ol' me with the scale that won't budge who exercises like a freako! I'm also 20 years older than her and a lot lighter than her too...I guess. I tracked my calories in my food journal yesterday and counted about 1890 calories. I'll have to look at a website to see what I should be eating....but I'm on a phone line computer modem and my computer is super slow....so not sure if I'll have the patience to try a website or not.

I'll be heading out in a bit to do my "test 10K" run. Just downed a protein, banana, PB shake 'cuz my tummy was talking so I'll let it settle just a bit first.

Lori - ya' know I was just kiddin', but ya' gotta have fun and I'm sure you will realize on tomorrow nite how great it was and how just a day or day and a half is just the right amount of ME time. Please do post some pics.:7 Have a bunch of fun !

Lora - is sounds like cutting your cals a bit would help. In checking out all the books and a few websites for me, my maintenance is between 1800 & 2000 cals so I am for 1400 - 1500 if I am trying to cut back. Of course you have to change it up depending on your workouts. Maybe try cutting back to 1500 - 1600 and see how it goes. That may help the scale budge a bit. I have both a dial up and DSL and I have used the dial up for FitDay.com. Once you actually get to the website it goes nearly as fast as the DSL connection. HTH.

Hey to all that follow. Looks like we'll be a bit short handed this weekend with all the travelers and busy ladies. Yea for lots of fun in between the hard working out ! :+
 
Jacque - not sure if I could cut many calories without starving! I'm always hungry now! We'll see but I'm not feeling very confident about it right now.
 
Lora - if you are hungry all the time then maybe tracking your macros would be good. I know after I kept my cals where they were but added more proteins in since that is what I have seen recommended for heavier lifting, it actually helped me stay full longer.

I have been playing with my food and exercise plan for so long that I am happy to see that I my body is finally making changes. Sometimes I wish the weight would drop cuz I have some fat that isn't necessary, but I feel better.

You are working out pretty hard every day. Maybe when you're done with WSFL and you switch it up with something different it will shock your body.

Only a few days left . . .

Just don't get frustrated and I really know how hard it is. ;)
 
Back from my run.

6.23 miles, 66.35 min, 1261 cals, HR 163-176

Felt good until 2/3 of the way through I got a bad stitch and had to keep stopping. Not sure I am ready to run a 10K yet.

Any of you runners have any secrets to keeping the stitches away or what to do to get rid of one if you get it in the middle of your run?
 
Hey Ladies.

Having strayed a bit from the weights portion of the AB program, I did another Kettlebell Goddess work out today. I did 3 premixes plus the stretch for an hour long full body work out.

I went out last night and saw SATC finally. What a fun movie! Today I went to the horse races. Tonight I have no plans. I might just find a movie on pay per view and kick back and enjoy the quiet since my house is empty. :)

I have to shower and eat dinner now but I'll be back in a bit to catch up with personals before I hit the couch.

Sorry ladies. I got side-tracked and now it's time for bed.
I should be up pretty early tomorrow though and I don't have a work out to do so I'll have lots of time to post personals in the morning!
