Good Morning:)

How is everyone? It was pretty quiet here yesterday! Im up early to get another run in before work. Sometimes I wonder if sleep shouldn't be the priority, especially when I only got about 6 hours of it:eek: I had a good, stiff drinking before I went to bed though so it was lights out for me:p It shouldn't be busy at work though so Im sure I can catch a little cat nap in the chair.

Jacque** I think its a good thing that your legs feel like rubber;) How are they feeling today? When we were at dance class the other day DH and I were moving to fast and my teacher said "your legs must be tired" When she left i looked at DH and said "she doesn't know who she is talking to" Its amazing how many out of shape people there are. There were people sweating buckets and we were barely moving?

I will bbl to report my workout. Im just getting another run in on the TM!
Lori:)

Good Morning Girls. :)

Lori: So how did your SUPER EARLY morning run go? I hope it's a good day for napping at work today!;)

So I was supposed to get up and be on my way to the gym around 7am to run but um...I woke up at 7:15. OOPS. DH has to take my car to the mechanic which is why I was going to do it early but now I'll have to wait until he gets back. I could ask him to change the car seat so I can take DS to the gym while he's gone but I'm not so sure it's worth the effort.

Guess, that's all for now. I'll be back a bit later. :D

Hey Wendy! My run was good. My workout ended up being a 30 mins run, mixed in with all the UB and LB work from BC. It didn't take an hour to do. I need to get to bed early tonight if I am going to workout tomorrow morning. I am on my 2nd day with 5-6 hours of sleep:confused: It catches up after a while.
Im hoping to relax;) in the chair this afternoon. Its pretty quiet here so I may be able to catch a 15 mins snooze:rolleyes:

Hope you get your workout in! Hello to everyone else!

Lori:)

Hey my chickadee friends:

Was up and about the usual time but was tidying up the kitchen, getting a start on the dog food (make a protein/veggie/rice blend for my 12 yr old to mix with her dry), and chatting with DH.

Just finished my CTX 10-10-10 with tri's. One more tomorrow and then it is off to start a new rotation. Have the freestyle printed out - think I'll play with it a bit to up the runs and add a KB.

Either of you tempted to do the 100 push up challenge? For me only working my UB once a week has definitely lowered my push up rates. :( Will start working UB twice a week again and contemplate the PU challenge. NROL4W really had my UB in better shape.

Lori - nice job on the workout in a short time. Agree with the tiredness too many short sleep nights brings. I have a bottle of melatonin tablets that are my "go to" when I am not sleeping well for too many nights in a row. Seems to work for me if I can take them early enough.

Wendy - sounds like your workout will be coming later today due to conflicts. Kudos to you for being more "go with the flow" on your workouts - I am remembering when I first "met" you and you worried about it. As we all get older (you ladies are well behind me) we learn that "caca pasa" and stressing out is worse than shortening or missing a workout.

How is the training coming along for both of you?

And Miss Jen, where are you? Hope you still have time for your workouts these busy days.

Will check back in later to see if anyone has been back.

Happy weekend !

Hi Girls.

I ended up having to nixx the run today. My knee is sore and my toe on the same side is hurting as well so I figured that was a sign to give it a rest today. I opted to try out Tony's One on One Road Warrior work out. It was a goodie. Perfect for today. I hope to run tmrw but if my knee is still bugging me I will do something else.

Lori: Nice work out this morning. Sometimes deciding to mix it up like that is good for you. I mixed it up today and I'm glad that I did. I hope you can catch a cat nap today at work. 5-6 hours of sleep is okay for me for ONE night but after that my name is MUD unless I get a good night's sleep.

Jacque: I will still stress about my work outs but I guess it depends on my mood. I wasn't in a stressing mood this morning. LOL Do you have the X? I think I am going to start that soon. Wanna give it a go with me?? *insert evil grin here* I still have to give NROL4W a try...so many work outs so little time! EEEK! LOL As for the push up challenge, I haven't read about it. Can you explain what it is?? TY!

Well girls, I gotta jump in the shower now. Heading up to hang with BF in a little bit.

BBL though! :)

Wendy - I have the X - in fact, Lori does too < < < let's add another evil grin > > > but I can't find my manual with the program in it.

The pushup challenge was listed on a blog, think it was lainie fig and also in Open Discussion. They have started a checkin now . . . I checked it out quickly and basically it is a few rounds of push ups 3 times a week and eventually you get up to 100 in a day.

Will look around for it later and post the link.

So when ya starting the "X"? I am not remembering how long the workouts are? And I have a pull up bar, but don't know if I can use it in the AMs when everyone is asleepin'.

Fill me in . . . meanwhile I'll try to locate my book.

Hey ladies! Sorry I've been MIA these past two days  but life has just been rather hectic! Work was nuts yesterday, and today I was out with the kids all day (celebrating this old lady's birthday ;)). We left the house early this morning and just walked in the door. Spent the day at an aquarium, had lunch, and did some shopping. It was a lot of fun.

I didn't get a workout in today, but yesterday I did the weights from Bodymax 2. It's the first time I've done Cathe weights in a looooong time, and oh man, I'm feeling it today! My upper body is fried! Don't know what's on tap for tomorrow, but I'll be checking in to catch up on everyone. See y'all in the a.m.

Jen
