Morning Ladies -

This morning I did WSFL Week 4 Day 1. This was the Squat strength segment followed by the 10 minute circuits abs on ball/deadlifts and step ups KB swings. I used my 35 lb KB for the swings for most of it. The intervals were the 30/90 ones....which I shortened the rest periods on. Did them on the Rebounder. Tunes were Seether - Disclaimer. Workout with cool down and stretch was 60" and I burned 490 calories.

Have great workouts everyone.

Good Morning.

Great work out Lora!:)

I have cardio on tap for today. The plan is HIIT on the EXT followed by a 3 mile steady state TM run. We'll see if it actually HAPPENS this time!:p

Off to get more coffee.:9

Good Morning Ladies:)

Todays workout is just cardio. Im planning a run outside but haven't checked the temp yet. I did my weight workout yesterday and I am really feeling it today. I went heavier with some moves or did more reps, compared to last weeks workout. I also got to do the one arm pushups and the clap pushups as well. I didn't get to do those last week cause there was something weird going on with my shoulder.
Eating was great again yesterday.I feel better already!

I will be back later!
Lori:)

Good Morning Girlies!

Another one here reporting cardio this a.m. for today's workout. After last night's indulgence, I duly punished myself with ten, count 'em, TEN, hill intervals and then followed that up with a fifteen minute steady state run. The whole thing took me 55 minutes, and I was drenched by the time I was done. It hurt so good }( .

Goin' looooww carb today, as I consumed enough for a week last night.

BBS~

Hi Girls!

Back from my run. It was a tough one. Same route but the sun was shining on me and the heat was zapping my energy. Oh not, to mention the wind during my stretch homex( Oh well, I have it done and now I can relax while DS naps. Im thinking about taking a little nap myself b/c I have to work tonight.

I will BBL for personnals!
Lori:)

RE: Alwyn, TT, Kettlebellers, etc. Checkin for Wed June...

Hi Girls.

My work out actually happened as planned today. I went and did my 4 rounds of HIIT on the EXT using level 14 as fast as possible for my highs and level 5 at a relaxing pace for my recoveries. Definate puke status. I was watching the clock just PRAYING for that minute to be up!}(

After the 2 minute recovery for the final interval I hopped on a TM and walked for an additional 3 minutes and then punched it up and ran 3 miles in 29:53! I'm comin' back babies! YAY!:+ :7 :+ :7 :+

BBIAB!:)

Helllooooo ladies !

Had a pretty good workout considering I got a little extra sleep and had to drag myself outta bed. Posting daily sure keeps me in line - so happy for the checkin.

Stage 2A3 today - the squat/overhead press (w/BB) is a toughie for me. I have added a 10# vest and am using 45# on the BB and barely pushed it up on the last reps of the 2nd set. Whew !

So Jen, we tried, huh? Ended up seeing 2 coworkers at the restaurant and they doubled our drinks - I had a tall Coors Light and that meant I ended up with 4 ! beers !x( They stopped by our table before they left so I am glad I was drinking it, but definitely thought about you afterward :p Did good on the food though, passed on the egg rolls and pot stickers, just ate the edamame, a large salad, EZ on the miso dressing and a few pieces of rolls. Think I may do a little extra cardio tomorrow if I have time - can't today. Sounds like you might have done my extra cardio too? LOL - don't I wish ! But like you, it was a very very nice evening and with the @$%& at work lately, this morning I was thinking, "I'm so glad our family went out and had a great time" - hard to get all mine together since 2 are 30 min and 90 min away.

Lora - You are so steady with your workouts - last week for you ! Yippee ! Do you have plans for next week yet? How's the food been at work lately?

Lori - glad to hear you enjoyed your weight workout and then got a run in also. Way to add a little more since you had the energy. And, though I definitely cannot say that I get everything done (I am so frigin' far behind at work and at home), I WILL NOT give up my workouts!}( Excuses are just that - I treat my workouts just like I do my food or my sleep - necessities of life, period !

Wendy - way to go by keeping the DVD unopened ! I'm shocked actually.:7 At least you stuck to your schedule and had a good workout. Nice job on the run - that's about where I'm at - am so toying with the idea of running in our local "Run for the Stinkin' Rose" 10K in a few weeks. The route is actually what I call my "long run" so I'm thinking I may give it a try tomorrow after work and see if I can handle a 10K . . .

Hey there Judy, Shirl if you make it here today.

I may be a little sparse if I decide to actually catch up where I am behind (thinking of you Lori and wishing I had either your energy, your organizational skills or, just plain ol' you down here for a week to handle my chores! He he he !). I will try to check in at least.

Until later . . .

Hi Ladies- This thread seems to be dying down. What's going on?

I forgot to comment about food the last few posts. Since it was TTOTM a few days ago, I broke down and had a couple small pieces of chocolate and a sinless Ice Cream from Coldstone with pecans/caramel/hot fudge on Sunday.

I've been standing my ground at work. I had to actually turn down a Panera Egg/Cheese Souffle from the girl that always brings me goodies. I think I hurt her feelings and believe me, it wasn't easy to turn down....cuz they are good! but 30 grams of fat and 500 calories...yikes!! Today I had an English Muffin with jam as an extra item....but I was famished all day. Other than that, I sat thru watching them eat pizza again today and that was really rough. I also watched them eat chips and candy this afternoon and that was also tough!

Hope everyone else is doing well turning down the temptations! It's not easy.

Wow Lora - I have yet to remember you mentioning anything even remotely healthy that they eat.

I think the choices you are making when you have your cravings are good ones. The chocolate does have some good benefits (I recently found bags of chocolate chips that are 65% cacao:9, and a small handful satisfies any wild cravings I get) and the your fav sinless ice cream with the bit of topping doesn't sound too bad.

Now that souffle sounds to die for. I think what would turn me off the most is the fat. I could probably work with the 500 cals - I love veggies and a huge a$$ salad with peppers, tomatos, carrots, snap peas, onions, etc would work for me. Or some steamed broccoli, cauliflower, squash - or even grilled veggies and I'm good to go.

I sure hand it to you with your will power - you have got it down!;-)

Great job !

Lora, I can't help but wonder what these women look like.

Wendy, awesome workout. And I caught that you bought the CC8 that everyone is talking about! You're going to have to give me a review, even though I already know I'm going to want to buy it!!

Jacque, I'm sooooooo happy to hear that I'm not the only one who fell of the wagon last night }( I'm glad to hear it was worth it for you. What's better than having the whole family together? That def warrants a celebration. So we'll just pick ourselves up and brush ourselves off, hop right back on the wagon and work our butts off in preparation for those inevitable future celebrations. Heck, that's half the reason I do it every morning ;-)

Lori, it's amazing how the heat can take the wind out of your sails. Great job getting it done! The A/C in the building I work in is on the blink right now, and the windows don't open, so the office was 85 degrees and oppressively humid all day today. It was ridiculous. I could barely stay awake, so I know how you must have felt running today.

The boss actually told us all to wear shorts to work tomorrow. I feel a little unprofessional, I admit, but I don't really care if it means we're more confortable. Besides, I'm taking off at noon to head off to the beach for the weekend, so even better that I'll already be in my casual clothes. Can't wait!

Okay, early alarm in the a.m. and AB weights workout B. Catch you all tomorrow~
