Alwyn and others on Hump Day

Lori: I hope you don't mind but...LMBO at the comedy of errors you desperately tried to call sleep y'day!:p I am laughing WITH you, not AT you, really I swear!;)



Today's work out was supposed to be an hour on the TM with either Grace or Sean and my Centergy class at the gym but now thanks to my DH (whom I'd like to strangle!:mad:), I am going to be heading out for my long run of 13 miles after dropping DS off at school this morning. The circumstances surrounding the change of plan irritate me to no end but if I do the long run today I know I will be thankful when the weekend rolls around and the pressure is off. :)

I was going to take a rest day today but I think I am going to do my speed work on the TM and a goooood UB workout:rolleyes:

Wendy** Its not nice to laugh at people you know!;) I was laughing at myself to! Its a good thing I was half asleep when I fell b/c when I got back in the bed, I was thinking "geez, that kind of hurt" but then I went back to sleep for another 20 mins!

Todays sleep was much better! I didn't move for 2 hours:D I think I shold be able to survive the rest of the day on that:)

Good morning all,

Got my CTX All Step & Chest done. Will attempt a run tonight as I "fell" yesterday after work - not like Lori :p (OK - no more funnies on your behalf Lori, promise) and attacked the goldfish crackers and has some pasta at dinner. :eek: Today is a Carne Asada day at the mfg site and I'll be there representing HR from Corp with my boss so will try to go easy on the tortillas - or if possible, not eat any. Will depend on the set up.:confused:

Wendy - bummer that DH changed your plans, but a 13 miler sounds like it may just take your mind off of it - or maybe it will give you lots of time to fret? :confused: :p ;)

Lori - hope you have a good speed workout and UB "pump" session today. Glad to hear you got some good sleep today. Totally difficult to deal without sleep for too long.

BBL to see if Jen has come up for a breath yet. Such a busy lady these days.

Hi Girls.

Got my sloooooow 13 in this morning. It hurt more then usual. Who knows why. Runs can be soooo very different from day to day. My 11 miler a couple weeks ago felt AWESOME the entire time and on this one I was draggin' by mile 8!:confused: Oh well. It's behind me now and I get to look forward to 15 now!:eek: LOL

When I got home I drank my recovery drink and stretched real good and then managed to pass out cold for about 20 minutes before I had to get up and shower so I could pick the little guy up from school. The nap felt good but I could've used a longer one. I'm feelin' beat up and legs are liked lead pipes right now. UGH. Hopefully a good night's sleep tonight will help me and perhaps tomorrow morning will call for some Advil. ;)

Lori: How was your work out today?

Jen: Where are ya girl?

Jacque: Oh no I hope you are okay after your fall! So did you behave today with all of that food around? ;)

Wendy - way to go with the run - wouldn't it be nice to know why there is a difference from day to day? Hope your leggies feel better after a good night's sleep.

I did pretty well though I wish they had had a salad or something too - but it was basic Mexican so there was a choice of 5 meats: chicken, pork, beef, tongue and tripe. :eek: Yep, kinda ????. Had two beef and one pork, they dip the tortillas in oil and actually put them together for you so I conformed and ate them. The tortillas were about 6" round and they double them - corn, the ones with the most lard ! ! ! Then added a small spoonful of rice and one of pinto beans. Oh well, thinkin a run tonight may be in order . . . :confused: Good to see my employees again - not too long ago they were in fear I only came down to be the TERMINATOR so now I need to show up for "good" reasons - not to do terms.

I'm here, I'm here!! Better late than never, right? ;)

I had meetings today in Springfield, which is an hour commute from where I work. I only have to do it once or twice a month, but it makes the day a little crazy!

I have some catching up to do, but I will say that I was also LOL over poor Lori's sleep troubles! Mostly because I've been there, done that :rolleyes:

Wendy, you rocked your run! Lead legs and still managed 13! It's crazy, girl!

Jacque, no problem on the eats! Sounds like you did just fine! Eh, we still gotta live.

Lori, you fell? Oh, I gotta go back and find out what's up with that. Hope you're getting a more peaceful sleep these days.

Okay, so no workout to report today. I need to put together a rotation for me, because I'm feeling rather adrift these days. I'm thinking I may even go back to Afterburn (the dreaded Stage 3, no less) and finish that because I seem to do better with structure. When left to my own devices, I can't make up my mind. Then the next thing ya know, I'm blowing it off! I'll ponder a plan over my glass of wine tonight :p

On that note, I'll catch y'all in the a.m.
