Finally a woman won! Bernie was the voted off at-home winner. Roger got in the finals and came in 2nd. Kelly looked really great - she ended up losing 111 lbs, and Allie lost 112. Very exciting! I didn't watch the show - it's taped for me to watch this weekend.

Didn't Ali look AMAZING!!??? She was smok'in hot when she came out in that dress! Sooo tiny! Its good to know that they can keep up their new life style when they are home.
Its amazing when you think about what they have all done since Jan 1st! Thats not long at all!!!

Lori:)

Whoohoooo!! :D :D :D I was SO happy when Ali won!! I was doing some math in my head during the last commercial before Ali weighed-in and thought she'd be a bit closer to Roger. I really like Roger, too, and would have been happy if he had won. Yet, I'm ecstatic that Ali did!! :p She's inspired me so much this season. I really like what she said toward the end of this finale show about how she struggles every day to get motivated to work out and to stay on track with her food choices. It makes me feel better when I struggle, and I can draw from the strength and consistentcy she must have to win the BL! This my first season to watch and I'm definitely hooked. :D

I'd forgotten when they started - yikes! What progress in only 3-1/2 months! But, we must keep in mind that that was their life for the time they were on the ranch. Five or six hours a day workin' out with Jillian would make anyone lose like crazy! How did Brittany end up doing? I got sick of her whining - Allie showed her just how a woman can do!

I loved Allie and her mom! Did they mention Paul ...Kelly's Ex? Last I saw he was sick in the hospital.

I was so excited that Alli won. She was so freakin' inspirational. I got goosebumps from watching that last night. It was kind of a kick in the butt that I needed. Stop being lazy and fight for what you want. She kicked some serious a$$.

Oh, also I could be wrong but I think that they were at the ranch before 1/1/08 because last week was the last week at the ranch on TV but in reality they had 2 or 3 months at home until the finale.

They mentioned Paul is sick and too sick to travel at the beginning and not much detail other than that.

They definitly started before the 1/1 - that is just when the show started airing...

They spent 4 1/2 months on the ranch and only had 6 weeks before the finale at home (which is the lowest amt of time ever at home before the finaly)

So that gives 6 months of time from start to the finale... Amazing still what they did in that amount of time....

They looked fabulous....

Yeah, I shoulda known that my timing was off - of course the show is pretaped and they started way before Jan. 1. Duh!!!!!!!!!! I've only been watching this show forever - I just missed the first season. Does anyone think they'll have Kim back as a trainer? I actually like Jillian the best now - I used to hate her! I respect the results she gets - she produces winners!

Awww drat I missed it AND forgot to set the DVR

is there any place online that I can still view it?
So happy Allie won :7

Very cool - she looked great. That show always has me doing push-ups at the commercials. It's very inspirational. I actually wish it aired earlier because it always make me want to work out. I do feel a bit pathetic though - if they can lose over 100 pounds, you would think I could lose 20. Although if I worked out 6 hours a day and had Bob or Jillian as my trainer I would look like Jillian, so there is that. Any-hoo. Good job to all.

Does the new season start over the summer? I always thought that a TV season was September through May. This season 5 started in January.

Also, I would LOVE it if they offered all the seasons on DVD. I really find it inspirational, and would love to watch it from time to time.

Does BOB have any fitness DVDs? I know that Jillian has some (the 30-day shred isn't bad for a 20-minute workout), but Bob would be good in power pilates or power yoga. I think that I would love to do a good cardio with him. (I read somewhere that his best friend is his dog, and I really understand that!!)

I was so excited that Ali won, but everyone really did an awesome job!! I loved seeing their before/ afters!!

I could only watch the last 15 min or so and was also glad Allie won, but would have been happy to see any of them.

The show is so wonderful how it changes so many lives - hopefully forever.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could all get paid to be healthy? :p

I was glad that nice young guy won the 100 grand - he isn't affluent and worked so hard!

Paul, last we saw had a wholloping pneumonia - and I'll bet they put him on some steroids that fattened him up....poor guy...

Brittany looked great - she and Jill have become friends outside of the show (Brittany was on the radio show a couple weeks ago) - and she has the polycystic ovaries too I think which drag out weight loss - but what a stunning kid she is!

Jillian - bemoans on her show that she's put on 10 lbs since the debut 5 years ago - but she looked so pretty - strong yet feminine....I think she and Bob have a great chemistry together..but I suspect any hook up of them too is very far fetched! Bob - he is such a hottie, but he dressed like Arthur Treacher or some kind of British yacht guy didn't he? He was cute!

You can watch it on MSN fitness or go to the Biggest Loser website.
I asked a friend last night to consider auditioning for it. She's already on her life changing journey though.

Yahoo!! for Allie!!

Im curious about Paul. He got sick right after he was home for a week, my first thought was law suit but I'm sure all the papers were signed.

Bob always looks cute. The last few finales, Bob and Jillian weren't "dressed" but it's good they are making the effort to dress up.

Bernie was a suprise to me that he won the 100 grand, but he earned it. He had a great attitude throughout the show.

My cable was out so I ended up watching the whole show this morning (minus the commercials). It looks like just about all of the at-homers benefited from the show - let's hope they keep it up. Maybe Allie could turn this into a career - she could be a trainer herself. I know several of the winners and finalists have gone on to become motivational speakers. This show is certainly a good example of how good men & women can look with weight training!

I don't think Bob and Jillian would ever hook up. I don't think she is his "type." But that's just my suspicion. He's still adorable and seems to have a great personality.
