<---just got back from lunch with DH and as she was backing up in busy parking lot, DH noticed a baby bird just sitting in the middle of the parking lot
<---hoped it would just fly away as we got closer, but it didn't
<---ended up parking again and scooping the bird up with a towel from her trunk
<---set the baby bird under a nearby tree and walked back to car
<---says the bird followed her (hopped on it's wobbly little legs) all the way back to her car
<---tried to find it's nest to no avail and tried to put him back under tree - was followed again back to car
<---says at this point DH was rolling his eyes cuz' he knew the bird was coming with us
<---is now sitting at work with a very chirpy bird in her lap googling "feeding orphan birds"
<---would never have taken the bird if it wasn't in the middle of a busy parking lot and kept jumping back onto the pavement
<---guesses she will have to go back again and try to find that nest...
