I am getting my first airbrush tan this week....I hear that 2 sessions does the trick and it lasts about a week. Has anyone tried it? Does it work?

My mom had it done for my wedding, and it looked fantastic!
No streaking, no orange, etc...

Looked very natural!

I've had it done on my face (I use tanning beds but I ALWAYS cover my face, so I usually use a self tanner). The airbrushing was a nice break from the self tanner, very easy to use, natural looking & did last about a week.

But too pricey for me to do every week. I'd rather save my pennies for my cosmetic procedures. :p

I bought a package of 5 but have only used 3 - I'm kind of on the fence about it. I did like the girl who did mine - I think it's better to have someone doing it by hand vs in one of the booths that are automatic. Just really watch those areas that "soak" it up - use the pre-tanner lotion on your elbows, hands, ankles, knees and feet. I did have some odd streaking and I didn't like how my feet turned out once. Also, they do have an indicator in it that makes you look REALLY dark for a few hours and you aren't supposed to wash it off for 4-6 hours. Trust me when I say - get your tan and go home because you'll be embarrassed to go out looking THAT tan. I felt like that lady on "Something About Mary" - I think her name was Magda - too dark and odd looking!

I'll probably save my other two for in the fall when my more natural tan fades.

I always use self tanner on my face, however - I use Estee Lauder for Faces and really like it so I don't think I'll have my face sprayed anymore.

Good luck!

I had it done in the booth and the airbrush way. Did not like how long either lasted. Two days if that. Not worth the money. I use Loreals new micromist tanning spray for medium skin types for my "tan". Its easy, fast, and wears nicely. And its not 35 dollars a pop.
