Air Jacks

I was wondering if I could get some pointers... I would like to improve the height on my air jacks and tucks, any tips on how to achieve this?

Hi girls,

I have been trying to figure this out and this morning when I was doing KM blast, I finally figure it out. If you pay close attention how Cathe uses her arms, the arm movement helps gain momentun to lift higher. That is what I did and jump higher today than ever.

I bend my knees to keep my butt closer to the ground, use my arms to help propel myself upwards, and brace my core the moment my feet leave the floor.

I think the type of flooring you have really factors into it. If you look closely when Cathe and the gang are jumping, their flooring gives a bit (I'd love to have some floors like that around here!).

And I also think that like everything else in life, the more you practice the better you will get at doing these jumps. Especially if you are not used to this type of athletic move. So, don't just do these jumps when you're doing the workout, practice a few of them a day, what else are you doing while waiting in line at McD's?? :p

Excellent idea! One for each french fry!

Thank you to everyone who replied. I will keep practicing, even if I do look like a cheerleader reject!

Hi There! When you start the jump try to squat down just a little bit & bring your arms up in a circle to propel you up in the air this helps a lot. Then bring your feet as close to hitting your butt as you can. Also the proper sneakers must be worn. I just spent $100 on new Nike sneakers that have gel in the front & back plus I bought extra gel cushioning inside the sneakers in place of the ones that were already in there. Gotta save those knees ya know? Hope this makes sense. HTH, Kathy:D
