AHHHHH! Gift from DH!!!!!

For the past week I knew my DH and kids were working on something in the basement. I started suspecting they were building something to hold my weights, or maybe a mirror so I can see my form. Welll...they took me down to the basement this morning, and it was WAYYYY bigger than that!!!

He built me my own exercise room!!!! He turned his guitar room in the basement into the perfect place for me to exercise! He painted the room my favorite colors, mirrored one whole wall, bought a new tv and vcr/dvd, bought special mats for my elliptical and treadmill, and bought me some more weights!! It's awesome! I had him take pictures so I can post them here, but I need his help and will bother him later. I just can't believe it.:7 :7 :7

BTW--we weren't supposed to get each other anything because he already surprised me a while ago with a 4 day cruise to the Bahamas that we leave on in a few weeks. And, of course, there was a Cathe gift certificate in my stocking:)

I thought your Dh was in trouble!:eek: Not the case at all.Sounds like he is doing everything right..LOL
That was very sweet of him.DH did a room for me a while back but its not even close to being finished yet.He is so slow!

Kelly, that is AWESOME!!!!!! I got a Cathe gift certificate, weighted gloves, and DH says Slow and Heavy is on the way here... I've got a lot of work to do!!!!

What a beautiful story and gift! Now when you're working out, your heart will receive a double benefit! One from the physical aspect of exercise and the the other is the emotional aspect from all the thoughtfulness and love your DH and children poured into that exercise room. The gift certificate is the perfect "icing on the cake".
