I broke my foot at the end of March (5th metatarsal) and was sidelined after finally getting to all of my fitness goals (strength and body size). It was very disheartening, since I could do almost nothing for about 8 weeks
I was at my leanest and strongest (at almost 40 years old).
3 weeks ago I was given the all clear to do any exercises that I want and I started back up with CLX, since it is so short and I am short on time these days. I am so happy to be working out again!! I have been running a few miles for my cardio, since it is finally nice outdoors (midwest).
Well, 3 weeks in and I have almost all of my strength back and have lost a few of those pounds that I gained from my time off (I kinda ate whatever I wanted for a few weeks there
and gained about 8 pounds yikes!!)
I am so happy that it isn't taking weeks and weeks to gain back what I had worked so hard to gain!!!
For those of you fighting an injury, I am hoping that you can come back from it just like I am!
