aerobics and lifting

I was wondering if an aerobic workout one day followed by a weight lifting workout the next day is overdoing it? My goal is not really to lose weight, but to be toned and somewhat muscular. I want to bulk up just a little. Thank you in advance for any info

Hi Kathy--I'm not Cathe, but........

I think that kind of split is just fine. It's similar to what I do--On Mondays & Thursdays I do aerobics only, & on Wednesdays I lift. On Saturdays & Sundays I combine both cardio & weights. So Tuesdays & Fridays are my only off days.

Basically what I'm doing now is maintaining my weight. Although everyone's different, this split is working well for me.
