Hi Cathe & fitness friends,
I just started S & H today after a month of doing MIS 2x per week. In order to get in 4 cardio days, Cathe recommended doing S&H chest/back plus shoulders portion from legs/shoulder on Tuesday and triceps/biceps plus leg portion from legs/shoulders on Thursday. I plan to follow this but I really want to work these parts 2 x per week. Should I give up one cardio day to do a full body strength workout like MIS or should I do a cardio/strength workout like Body Max or Circuit Max so that all body parts get worked twice? My rotation looks like:
Monday MIC
Tuesday S&H chest/back & shoulders
Wednesday I-Max
Thursday S&H triceps/biceps & legs
Friday MIC (or cardio kicks, circuit max or run)
Saturday ???? BodyMax? PowerHour? MIS? ????
Sunday rest
Can I see strength gains by working only 1 x per week with S&H after being used to 2x per week with MIS? Please let me know what you think. Thanks!! JJ
