Ack, I haven't worked out for a MONTH!

It all started with an illness in the family, and I was out of town for a week. Then I got back and had to prep for a class I organizing, then I had a ton of work to catch up on. It has been a whole month without exercise! :(

That's the bad news. The good news is that I actually haven't gained any weight. Today is going to be my first day back, and I'm hoping to ramp it up and get rid of this last 10 pounds.

If anyone has been in this same boat, please pipe in and tell me what helped you! It is SO hard to get back into the routine! Thanks :)
 
I didn't work out for a couple of months this winter, except for some walking. I didn't gain any weight. In fact, I had lost weight during my time off. But, I did lose cardio-wise, muscle strength and tone. I did some power yoga, bar method dvds, and Cathe circuits before jumping back into P90X. I was basically flip flopping around, which was why I decided to do another X rotation. I also found that step was too much for my joints since I needed to build my muscles back up again.

i'm not working out for 5 weeks in may. i'm getting married and will be on a honeymoon for a week and when i get back i'm going in for breast implant surgery. so this is going to be a real challenge since i have never missed more than a week. it was comforting reading your post and seeing you didn't gain any weight with your time off. what was your diet like?
 
I've been having that problem on and off for a couple of months now. And I've been trying to do P90X, to boot. I get in a few really good weeks and then work or illness or just something always comes along and derails me. Then I'm lucky if I can get in two sessions a week. I haven't worked out since Saturday, and before that was last Monday. It sucks.
