ACE test - which study materials to buy?

I am seriously considering taking the ACE test for Personal Trainer Certification. I hear this test is pretty tough. ACE has a package - The Complete Personal Trainer Home Study Program - but it is $300! Is all the stuff in that package necessary? (PT manual, Master the Manual, Sample test, PT Home Study Course guide, flashcards, audio study pgm, planners (probably not nec.), and online review questions.) They also have smaller packs like one containing only the PT Manual and Master the Manual (or something like that) for a whole lot less. As tough as the test sounds, I wonder if I am going to NEED the big package? I'm assuming the PT manual itself is necessary but what other materials should I absolutely have and what is not at all necessary?

I bought the whole package plus I plan on taking the Practical Training Course since I have no hands on training and also plan on taking a prep course. The costs add up but I want to be prepared. I do not want to flunk the test. Hopefully your investment will be returned to you through the benefits of being certified.

I only ordered the Manual, Master the Manual and the Sample Test. But I haven't taken the test yet. I don't plan on taking it until Feb. 04. I also plan on taking the prep course beforehand. Hopefully it will be enough. Good Luck!!
