? about working out the day after legs

Hi Cathe,


Does it matter what kind of cardio workout I do the day after an intense leg workout? Is it o.k. to do something high intense w/ plometrics, or is it better to do something lower intense/low impact to let the legs recover a little more. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

not cathe, but wanted to say that i think that it really depends on how you feel and how you recover. but overall, i think after an intense leg workout, one should not push their legs again the very next day. running, walking, elliptical, swimming, mabe even kickboxing would be fine. i know that if i tried to do some type of IMAX or hill workout the day after a hard leg day, i couldn't put in 100% effort b/c my legs would still be sore and recovering.
