This is the only bb I don't have.I did what was on timesaver (3 sections)I enjoyed it. How many sections are there?Number 3 was hard for me to learn are the rest of the combos as hard are easier like #1 and #2.And is rs like sb.Thanks guys.

SB has three sections plus a blast. It is one of my fave step workouts.

RS seems more complex in choreography (I just got this and have only previewed) but I would bet once you get that down, the intensity is similar, and it also ends with a blast...

You can find complete breakdowns of all of the workouts out on the frontpage (click for the DVDs, then select the one you want to review).

Good luck!

Definitely get the whole Step Blast workout on DVD. So worth it. A fabulous step routine. And yes, SB is very like RS.

Step Blast (Total 55 min)

Warm up = 6 min
Combo 1 = 9 min
Combo 2 = 11 min
Combo 3 = 10 min
Challenge = 13 min
Stretch = 5 min

Rhythmic Step (Total 60 min)

Warm up = 10 min
Combo 1 = 11 min
Combo 2 = 14 min
Combo 3 = 12 min
Challenge = 9 min
Stretch = 4 min

In my opinion, the choreography is trickier in SB than RS. RS's comobs are broken down a bit more and most of the moves are right on the step wheras SB features lots of twisting and moves where your back is facing the TV. The challenge is tougher in SB because of the 'intesity bursts' offered. That said, I think RS is a tougher workout overall. It is quite long (46 min not including warm up) and the combos themselves, imho, are more intense (particularly section 2). I have done SB on a 10" step and though it was tough, it was doable. I tried RS on a 10" step and felt too winded and brought it back down to 8". For 'fun' factor - they are close, but I think RS wins slightly. I prefer instrumental music. (Although - Step Blast features TWO Prince songs - so I think that's enough to merit it's purchase!)

All the choreography from Step Blast is in Timesaver. The "blast" or "challenge" that everyone mentions is where Cathe strings sections 1,2, and 3 together - then adds an intensity blast (like plyo and airborn jacks). When you think you have survived the first round, she has you do all three sections again with yet another intensity blast, and then all over again a third time! So the end is more of an interval workout.
