? about extra equipment needed for STS

I'm currently doing another workout program, using a set of adjustable dumbbells. I'm interested in STS and have watched several of the video samples that are available here and elsewhere. My concern about STS is the amount of extra equipment that seems to be required....a barbell, a ball, a bench / step, a tower of some kind......probably more.

I don't have the space for all this equipment. How effectively do you think I could do the program with only a set of dumbbells? What extra equipment do you think is absolutely necessary in order to benefit from the program?

Thanks for your input.

Minimally I think you could get away with a full size step to double as a bench, your adjustable dumbbells, a stability ball, a band (these you can find cheap), tubing with the door attachment (or an Iron Gym or other pull up bar; I'm using tubing) and some paper plates. Later, you could add the barbell (I have one of the old Firm 4 ft long ones that doesn't take up much space). I do STS with no problem with these amount of equipment. I will probably not be getting the Tower, though it looks like a nice piece of equipment. I work out in my apartment living room and don't have the space. I also won't be getting a squat rack. I might invest in a weighted vest for Mesocycle 3 Legs if my finances will permit it.....
