What is your favorite Ab video.. I am looking for an advanced version
I have Cathe abs.. its ok.. I like the Planks but it just isnt enough
THANKS :)

Your post is rather vague. It's hard to work out exactly what you have of Cathe's ab/core work.

I recommend Ab Hits and Core Max. There's a wide ranging program of various degrees of intensity on these 2 DVDs that should challenge most people.

Her best core work is distributed among the Intensity Series DVD, particularly on Boot Camp, PUB and Cardio & Weights.

I don't own core work by any other instructor but some here own kari Anderson's "Curl" and "Curl 2" which are core workouts. Maybe you could check on collagevideo.com for reviews of these and other ab/core workouts.

You may want something that's more pilates inspired. They say that in fact what Pilates does best is produce a geat core.

There aren't many options out there that are strictly abs. In my opinion, you can work the abs thoroughly in 20 minutes or less. Any more, and it's just overkill.

Trainer Edge - Killer Abs and Back - is a good one by Michael Olajide (sp?). The first half is standing work, then a short jumprope section, then on to the floor. I think the total time is 40 minutes.

The workout that give me DOMS is the bonus workout in Seasun Zieger's Rock Steady Step. She starts with killer plank work and then moves on to variations of crunches. I also have Fitball Upper Body and that is about 40% core work done on the ball. Lots of new moves and variations - I feel it but good the next day!

Hope that helps!

I find that the earlier advanced Tae Bo workouts are the best for my abs. Second to that are the ab workouts on BC, ME and MM. I think I'm in the minority of people when I report I have not felt challenged by Kari Anderson's Curls.
