ab/core work during pregnancy

Cathlete
Can anyone suggest some ab/core exercises I could do while pregnant? I've been doing the abs mostly from ME, Bootcamp, and KPC but am realizing that (1) my lower back hurts when I'm laying on may back doing some of these and (2) I'm 12 weeks and nearing the point where I shouldn't be on my back anyway. Any ideas on how to modify Cathe's core work? This is my 4th pregnancy and I can't remember what I've done in the past. I probably stopped ab training all together.

Thanks!

Melanie congrats.
When I was pregnant I either did standing ab work or standard sit ups but didn't go all the way down. The videos i found with the best pregnancy ab work were Fit for 2-she did abs in a doggy-all fours position and gay gasper's 2 jammin workouts. She had a pregnant woman doing modified sit ups in the step -n-strike workout. You can also try to do your abs on the ball and see how your back is. listen to your body.

Melanie,

I got a book that I haven't been able to really do much of but that you may want to check out if you're at an online bookstore or something. It's called From Baby to Bikini (corny, I know) - and it has moves for every phase of pregnancy as well as the postnatal workouts. It even has some moves you can do in the hospital after the baby is born. If I think of it, I'll take a look and see if I can't describe some of them for you next time I check in.
