I workout on carpeted floors. Is this going to be a problem with the paper plate moves? I'm thinking of downloading parts of the circuit workout. thanks in advance

Wendy, that's a very good question. I too work out on carpeted floors, and I found the paper plate ab moves didn't work with paper plates. I've seen a lot of chatter on the Ask Cathe and Open Discussion forums about gliding discs that you can get that work very well in the plates' place. Maybe you can do a search or post a new question on the topic there.
I use paper plates on carpet with no problem, but I think it would depend on the texture of the carpet. Paper plates are cheap though, so it wouldn't hurt to try before buying something else.
I have the glider discs, and they remind me of cheap Frisbees. I do my workouts on "cut berber" carpet, so maybe 2 cheap Frisbees(the ones you get free from companies advertising), or disposable plastic plates would work? I think I bought the glider discs (it was a looong time ago,so I don't totally remember), because the paper plates didn't slide very well. Good luck!
