A Toasty Check In: 9/2/2005

Good Morning Toasted Friends!

Did C & W yesterday, but had to go much heavier with weights using 10, 15 and 20. Anyone else do this? Also did the 200 jumping jacks to the sounds of Gwen Stefani. Did them non stop. Fun, fun, fun!!!! Pushups were done too. Started with 10, took a breath and continued until I got to 40.
So now that is done. We are scheduled to do KPC (my fav) and Super Sets (lower body only). I have a bonus to do....1000 walking lunges. Anyone else want to have a beautiful booty too? Do them with me? Huh? Huh? Come one!!!!!!

Good morning "toasted friends":

I did C & W yesterday stopped halfway through to do 100 jacks and 20 pushups and then did those again after I was finished. LOVED IT!!! I felt alive again, it was absolutely great!!! I didn't use as heavy a weights as you, Charlotte, but you have MUCH bigger guns than me. ;-)

Can't wait for today's workout. I will probably get moving on that around 4pm or so.

P.S. - good luck with the walking lunges, Charlotte, I might add a few at the end of my workout, but not 1000 and not acting like a chicken. ;-) I can't wait to see YOUR pics, though. :)

I don't know about those pics. Don't have anyone to take them now. My son won't do it and my daughter might. So I will ask her. DH is not here and he wouldn't anyhow. He is with my son...thinks it is "gay". LOL!

BTW,

Carla will be joining us on Monday as she had to go out of town with her family.

I am working out in a few minutes here. 10am then off to mowing. Oh, I am way behind in mowing. Hope I won't have to stop and get more gas for the can. Can you imagine how much it will cost me to mow now?

200 jumping jacks is like jogging. Really. You know though, I can't jump on my children's trampoline without the urge to pee so I avoid it unless I have just emptied my bladder.

I'm pumped!!!!!!!!! I just finished KPC and lower body of SuperSets. WooooHoooo - I'm ready for the next one tomorrow. :)

It will be interesting to see how my legs feel tomorrow. Thank the good Lord we will not be doing lower body tomorrow. Right around 990 walking lunges, my knees were screaming. I hope I wake up with a sore boot-tae! LOL!
I think tomorrow we are in for one heck of a ride with the core maxes and upper body. I didn't eat enough food today because I was outside so long so I hope I don't have to fight too much with those weights.

I feel the same way about the workout for tomorrow. I'm glad that it wasn't cardio because I have to bartend tomorrow night and that would've tired me out and sometimes I can't recover quick enough to have energy for work. Of course, it will be hard to open those beer bottles with sore arms }( , but MAN IT WILL BE WORTH IT!!! :)
