A Toasty Check In: 9/13/2005

Good Morning Toasty Friends!

Today we will be doing the Fiesta: 100 toe touches, 100 burpees (squat thrusts), jog in place for 5 minutes, 100 jumping jacks, 100 alternating front lunges, low pulsing hover squats for 2 minutes, jump rope for 5 minutes, 50 push ups, 400 sit ups...and then repeat!!!

Yesterday we did PUB, but I also did 400 crunches as a bonus plus I worked the smith machine some doing lat pulldowns. I had a great workout!

Good morning!

OK~ I did the fiesta different! I guess it doesn't matter though. It's done! I did treadmill intense 4 sets of 5 min, 4 sets of 100 walking lunges, 4 sets of 50 jumping jacks, 4 sets of 16 push ups, 4 sets of 100 crunches, 4 sets of 25 dips. I do this circuit style. I really feel it. So I did something right! :p

This afternoon I will walk on my treadmill for an hour while I read cases.

Good morning girls:

I didn't get home from meetings until 10:15pm! UGH!!! I hate 15 hours days. x( :-(

I have another meeting tonight, but it shouldn't be long. (I hope)

I am going to 'try' and get out of here at noon so I can go home and rejuvenate my mind and body. Of course, included in that is a HUGE Cathe workout, that will de-stress me for sure. }(

If I get home when I want to I will do PUB and some cardio, too, to catch up with the rotation - maybe even get the Fiesta workout in.

Charlotte: You were right, I HAD to sleep as long as I could this morning, I just couldn't get up and do PUB. My body was crying for some mental down time. :)

But, ya know - I came to a conclusion on my way in to work - I AM WORTH IT! I am worth making time for my workouts, I am worth it to eat well and lose this 45 pounds that won't leave my body.

I AM WORTH IT! I am going to schedule my workouts in even if it's just a little bit to do something especially on those busy work days when I have meetings - maybe a walking lunch hour, etc.

Hey guys:

I made it home~~~~I'm so excited. I do have to go back to work later for a meeting, BUT I was able to get home and de-stress. I just finished PUB and now am going to do some major cleaning and maybe start putting up some fall decorations, too.

Tomorrow we have kickboxing TWICE, right? I think I will do Cardio Kicks in the morning before work and KPC after work.

It feels SOOO good to get away from work and have some 'me time'. :)

HOORAY!!! Good for you! I know you are feeling pumped now! Get ready for tomorrow. Maybe you can think of those meetings with your kickin' it! LOL!
I am in the middle of my fiesta right now. Just taking a breather. Did 100 pushups (on my knees), 400 jumping jacks without stopping (forgot it was only suppose to 200, oh well)!, Did 200 toe touches and now I still have some others left on my list. 800 sit ups while watching BIGGEST LOSER!!!!! YEAH!!!!!

Got get going again...WHEW (wiping off sweat) LOL!

Good for you! I get so dizzy when I do the toe touches, hmmmmmmm ;-) not sure I could do 200 at a time. :)

I love this fitness fiesta, and wish I had time to do it today:( I won't have much time tonight after I get off work before my doggie school starts. This week is not going to be a very good workout week either, but I'm trying not to stress about it.

So, tonight I think all I will have time for is a quick run and then when I get home I can at least do the crunches, maybe even the pushups!!

Hello Ms Toasty and others. I competed in a 10k race on Saturday (only my 2nd official race) and afterwards decided to join in on this rotation since I'd like to focus more on strength for a while.
I ran a personal best time of 51:30 so I was pretty pumped. The next day (Sunday) I did the double bootcamp to catch up. Yesterday was PUB and I made it through the biceps with #12,#15,#20 dumbbells!
woohoo! Today was the marvelous fitness fiesta...I put it a good movie and worked through it. I even made it through the sit ups this time at least on the first go-round. The second time through I had to convert to crunches after the first 100. Love this rotation!
