A Toast Necklace

All this talk about dogs and PB&J made me think about something so funny as a child. There were six kids in my family and you had better not put your sandwich down anywhere. Why? Because when you went back to get it, it was gone! And it wasnt the dog because we didnt have a dog. And if you went around asking everyone where your sandwich was, nobody knew. Imagine that. I am not kidding!

Now for the good part. My brother used to make toast necklaces. He would make toast, string it on a string and tie it around his neck. This way, in case he got hungry, he would have something to eat! No kidding! We still tease him about it to this day. It was so funny watching him walk around the house with toast hanging from around his neck. tee hee.

That thread made me think of when I was eating a huge salad & one of my dogs was begging for table scraps, so I gave her a hot pepper. Did you know dogs act the same as people when they eat peppers?x(

My future sister-in-law (hopefully ) loves chex mix and I always joke with her that I'm going to make her a necklace out of it!! In other words, I can relate to your goofy post!!!

Ha!! I thought the SAME thing about the toast crumbs all over the floor! Ashley, actually it would be pretty easy to do since chex have lil' holes you could run a needle & thread thru! Tee-Hee!

Came back to say that the funniest thing our collie dog did with food was when we would give her a green olive. She would roll & roll it around on her tongue forever. It used to make us laugh so much just watching her.
