A question about cardio vs cardio and weights (or AWT)

HI Cathe

How often should a one do cardio and weight workouts. I thought it might be a way to change my routine. But I don't really understand how cardio and weight training help improve fitness. Right now I do cardio 4 times a week and weight training twice. So do I perform less weight training if I add cardio and weight training or keep it the same. And can I perform cardio and weight training the day before or after weight training? Any help would be appreciated.:D

I think you are asking If you do the Cardio and weights tape 1 day what tape do you do the next justa cardio or justa weight workout? I have done this tape and I think it is definitely a weight workout but I do think it is like endurance maybe more then strength so IMO I think it would be alright to lift heavy if you felt like it You can do cardio too I don't know I tend to always do cardio I have just started committing to a good weight schedule I LOve it it just takes alot more concentration then hopping on the treadmill or cranking up the VCR with a good Cathe step tape but this is my plan!

Yes, that's basically what I'm asking. I should have used the term AWT I guess but I have the Cardio and Weights workout so I have a habit of thinking of it that way. Thanks for your help
