Hello everyone, I am going to begin the Cathe journey. I currently am doing the Firm and need to kick it up a notch as Emeril would say. Any suggestions for first video buys? I have been excercising for the last 15 years and love step areobics and I do love the Firm but I definetly need more cardio. Thank you for any suggestions!:D
 
Hi there! Welcome to Cathe. You will LOVE her! My favorite step workout of hers is IMAX2. It's the BEST! You can't go wrong with any of her workouts though. She is GREAT!

I also love Kick Punch and Crunch and Cardio & Weights.

Rhythmic Step and Step Blast have some tricky choreography but once you get the steps down they are so much fun!!

I would suggest the CTX series to start with. I started with this series when I converted from the Firm to Cathe. It has a little bit of everything.

Welcome! and Beware!}( Cathe is so addicting and so is this website! I am fairly new and am slowly and steadily increasing my Cathe library (I wish I had an unlimited Cathe budget - I already have the next years worth of Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas, New Years.... gift ideas already figured out so soon I can have the whole kit n caboodle. :)

Anyway, I am loving Imax 2 right now - I've only done it a few times but the time goes by so fast and the cardio is awesome. One of my first was High Step Circuit and High Step Training Advanced - both are great but involve weight training and cardio in awesome heart-pumping workouts!

Trust me there is nothing that makes me sweat more than a Cathe workout! Besides, with her workouts my heart rate skyrockets and I'm having fun at the same time - and that doesn't happen very often.:)

Welcome to the world of Cathe! I don't have many of Cathe's step workouts because I don't have much room to do them. If you have FitTV, I definitely suggest watching some of Cathe's workouts. She has a show called Cardio Blast weekdays at 9am EST. All of the shows are exactly the same workouts as the ones on the DVDs, but they are usually shortened a bit to fit into the time slot. Also, if you love the Firm, look into Cathe's strength training workouts. Those are awesome, too.

I just wanted to welcome you. You are going to want all the Cathe's. Cardio & Weights was one of my first Cathe's and it really introduced me to some of her choreography and her teaching style.
 
HELLO WELCOME. I AM A NEW ONE TOO BUT I AM A FAN OF CATHE. I RECOMEND TO YOU THE WHOLE BODY BLAST AND INTENSITY SERIES.THESE WORKOUTS ARE AWESOME. IF YOU WANT CARDIO I RECOMEND STEP BLAST AND SJP IN THE 1 BODY BLAST DVD.IF YOU WANT SOMETHING STRONG TRY IMAX 2.IT IS A HARD INTERVAL TRAINING WITH SOME DIFFICULT MOVEMENTS BUT IF YOU PRACTISE YOU WILL LEARN THOSE.YOU HAVE ALSO THE BOOTCAMP. THE BOOTCAMP HAVE 1 MINUTE OF KILLER CARDIO, 1 MINUTE OF UPPER BODY, 1 MINUTE OF LOWER BODY AND 1 MINUTE OF ABS.I WAS A FIRM USER LIKE YOU BUT THE WEIGHT TRAINING OF CATHE IS IMMENSELY BETTER. I HAVE NEVER LIKED THE WEIGHT TRAINIG BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS BORING, AND NOW I LOVE ME OF THE INTENSITY SERIES AND I HAVE ORDERED THE PYRAMIDS. CATHE HAS DISCOVER TO ME A NEW HORIZON: THE INTENSITY EXERCISE CAN BE FUNNY.I AM SURE YOU WILL ENJOY YOUR WORKOUTS AS MUCH AS I DO. WELCOME :) :) :)
