A Little Sad It's Ending

So, I'm finishing up the last week of Meso 1 this week. Tomorrow is disc 12. And I have to say, after both 10 and 11, as I was putting the discs away, I felt a little sad. Like I'm saying goodbye to a good friend I'm not going to see for a while.

I've been absolutely LOVING these workouts and Meso 1 has been so fun (except maybe for legs), that I'm a little sad to see it ending. I'm already thinking that I will repeat at least Meso 1, after Meso 3, because I'm enjoying them so much!

I imagine Mesos 2 and 3 will be equally enjoyable, so I just have to shift my mind to the new section and get on with it. But I have to say, for the first time in a long time I can't wait to get home every STS day to do that day's workout! Even when I'm tired, I get excited for these. and I think I'm starting to see results, too! I hope 2 and 3 are equally enjoyable.

I just finished disc 12 this morning and as I was putting that final disc back in it's case I felt a little wistful too! Disc 12 did not disappoint and the final bonus exercises on the end were great too (even though I couldn't do them all - forget about one leg lute squeezes - for me, anyway).

But I am REALLY looking forward to having a week off weight-wise.

So far STS is AMAZING and I'm so happy that I bought them and am working out with them. Even on the days when I choose to lighten my weights from what my workout card says, I know I am getting an AWESOME workout!! I can't say enough good things about this program.

I felt the same after disk 10 and 11. HOWEVER... This morning I was tired and had to push myself out of bed to workout and I STRUGGLED with Disk 12, so now I am very happy to have a rest week and move on to something new. I've never been much for leg workouts and skipped all the ORM testing for legs, so I'm glad that legs will be sandwiched between workouts that I'll like for Meso 2. :rolleyes:
