I have a Salton that is extremely accurate and weighs in grams or oz. It will tell you the calorie count if you put in the code for what you are weighing. For example, an apple has a code and you have to tell it that you are weighing an apple to get the calories.
I also use a calorie program called calorie king- they have a free one on the website but this I purchased as a download for about $20. It is great because it is so easy to use and has a huge data base of foods and restaurants. So for whatever the apple weighs, when I enter it into my food journal, I adjust the weight and the programs records the calories. To me, it is easier than having the Salton figure the calories.
