A funny thing happened on my way to see Springsteen....

I have been looking forward to this concert for a few months now. I'm a huge fan from way back. So, finally the big night arrives & DH & I go up early so we can tailgate. It was at Giant Stadium about an hour & a half from our home. It took us 2 hours with Labor Weekend traffic. We get there & they have part of the parking lot sectioned off into a "Jersey Shore boardwalk" setting. Very, very cool. They had games, kareoki (spelled wrong I'm sure) & a ferris wheel. DH & I wandered around for a little while & then decided to head back to the car for another beer. Ok, I know REALLY bad for the old mid section but I was out for the weekend & I let loose on the weekend!

As we are walking back to the car, I spotted this very attractive woman hanging around under their own little tailgate tent. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I said to dh "Hey, I know that woman." He said "yeah, who is it." I was like, "you know, I think that's CATHE." Then I was like, "no way, that can't be Cathe." I slowed down my pace as we went by & SURE ENOUGH!!!! I said hi & introduced her to my husband & I met her's!!!! Can I tell you ladies, VERY, VERY nice looking man!!! Tall & a very nice bod!!! Yeah, I was checkin' him out, right there in front of her! LOL She asked where our seats are & I told her, I thought we had pretty decent seats. Her's were better, of course! Bummer for me, good for her! LOL

What a hoot for me--going to see a great show & seeing Cathe in the parking lot!

That is a very cool story, Deborah! I would have been too embarassed to talk to her, figuring she was out having fun and might not want to deal with exercise fans for awhile, but it would have been so amazing to just happen to see her.

In fact, I live in NC and drove up to Boston last weekend to drop off my only child at college. As I drove through New Jersey I thought, "This is as close as I'll probably ever be to Cathe." I did think about it though, Cathe proximity and all.

I'm glad both of you got to see Bruce Springsteen too. How was it?

Wow! That is too cool fitness goddess! Seeing Cathe at any concert would have been the highlight for me! I am glad she finally has some time for herself and her family! I was suprised to hear that you had never met Cathe's DH. I guess I assumed since you live close by and frequent her classes that you had already met him! Wouldn't it be cool to party with Cathe at a tailgate party? Great story!

I am incredibly jealous!!!

In the last few years I have been to ACDC in Fargo, Cher in the cites, Cher in Grand Forks and moondance jam in Walker MN. I did not see Cathe anywhere.

I would have probably teared up.

One of my very prized possessions is my Cathe collection!!!
