To confuse our muscles a bit more, I'd like to see a different kind of split routine, one that uses muscles so that there is no overlap:
1) Chest/biceps
2) back/triceps
3) legs/shoulders
Also, instead of doing, say, all the chest exercises before doing the bicep exercises, we could do either 2 chest, then 2 bicep, then have a stretch break, or alternate chest and biceps a couple of times before taking a break.
I'd also like to see a workout concentrating on functional moves with light to moderate weights, perhaps including some low impact cardio moves using a medecin ball.
