________TTC/Preggos__ Friday________

Hey Maggie, as long as you enjoyed it..no worries!!! You should post of pictures of your cute shelf belly for us! I soooooo agree with your statment that a well sexed husband is a happy one!!
My pain is a little better, thanks for asking. I had such and easy time of it last time that all this pain was a surprise. I just tell myself.."hey, you just had major freaking surgery, take it easy". That calms me down!

I did Cardio Coach 4th volume today---3.5 miles. Forgot to mention that earlier & I want to make sure I get "credit" for it since my workouts aren't so consistent right now.

Just had a bowel movement!!!!!!! Yeah! Now, I haven't tested this theory, but someone dropped by the pharmacy and gave me a bite sized cheesecake thing. I'm willing to try it again, to see if it helps keep my BMs regular. How many do you think I should eat/day?

No word on my labs. I forgot my cellphone at home, so I probably won't hear anything until next week.

Pics show up at work. Kate, you're adorable!!!!! Now, where are trish's photos?

Melaine..yayyy on the bm..keep up the good work. May take quite a few of those cheecake bites to see if it really work :)

Maggie, I would be more than happy to post a pic for you! PM me with your email address and we'll get you started! I wanna know what you ate!!!! I have been so hungry all the time lately but trying to keep my mouth shut. Total gain is 16 lbs.

Melanie, How long do they take to do the 3.5 miles? Glad you are doing better with the toilet! That part of pg really stinks - literally! I'm willing to test out your cheesecake theory!

Just finished SS UB premix. Cardio & stretching for the next 9 days!

Melanie--Yey for the poop!! Cheesecake sounds like a lovely remedy to me!

Maggie--I used to always be in the mood too during pregnancy, but not this time around. I still don't ignore him, but I'm just not as in to it. Hope things get back to normal after the baby. I think it's just because I feel SO huge and ugly, which stinks because this is my last pregnancy and I didn't want to think about body issues this time around, just enjoy it. Ugh!!! I literally am 40 pounds heavier than I was last summer. I had gotten down to my ideal size pretty much and was really happy with myself then. I'm aiming to do the same by next summer. Think that's too unrealistic? Thanks for asking about Maggie dog. She's still got really nasty ears. DH tried to put the medicine in her ears, but he is too big of a wimp. So I had to do it. Hope it's not MRSA, as I've come into contact with it. I've been reading a lot online, and all indications point to just a nasty bacterial infection that cannot be passed to humans or other animals, thank goodness. Trying not to obsess over it.

Candra--You did an HOUR of eliptical yesterday?? That would have kicked my butt pre-preg for sure! You go girl!

Susan--Your DD is so pretty! She looks like she's a sweetheart too. You must be so proud!

Kate--Are you ready for your trip? I'm still in awe that you're going on the Roadtrip!! Watch those contractions!!

----

DSs didn't get much sleep last night, so they've been fighting this afternoon and using no-no words like "Stupid" and "Shut-up." Ironically, both words pop in to my head when I think of their little petty fights. Ugh. Let me go remind them that they are best friends. Hope you gals have a good afternoon!!! :)

You guys are totally busy on this board today!
Candra-Do you like the elliptical machine as well as running? I am trying to decide between one and treadmill. Enjoy your weekend!
Stephanie-Our word in our house this week is "poopyhead". I am not sure where it came from. I am sorry to hear Maggie(the dog) isn't back to her normal self. Don't worry about the weight either, it may not happen over night but it will happen.
Melanie-Peaches and plums have been my savior for the constipation. I however would be willing to try cheesecake bites}( . I am still fitting it my clothes fine, except my bathing suit top, which my dh says looks great(aka not appropriate for the family oriented swimming pool). I hope I can get another couple weeks before I need a wardrobe change. I am crossing my fingers the stager makes all the difference in selling your home!
Kate-I was thinking about your contractions today some more and make sure you are getting eough fluids and electrolytes, I went into preterm labor at 29 weeks and spent the rest of the pregnancy in bed. I don't wish that on anyone, so please be careful. Just a thought.
Susan-dd is a doll. You must be so proud of her. I hope for you a nice long sleep tonight!
Maggie-you always make me laugh, you have such a great attitude. You are so close to being done, are you getting excited? How about the kids? dd wanted a crash course today on how to take care of a baby, and also how much do you get paid to take care of a baby. I said nothing and she said "thats only if you are the baby's mommy". I laughed for 10 min over that. She was not pleased.
Have a great evening.

Oh my goodness--Dh is unleashing on our senators and congresscritter over the price of oil (and subsequently everything else) and I think he's gone past the point of effectiveness. He's a really mellow guy, but get him riled up and look out. I just can't listen anymore--he's been on the phone with this one guy for about 20 min.....

Susan--Do take it easy--you're right--you just did have major surgery. You need some down time--there will be plenty of time to get it all back, fitness-wise, etc..

Melanie--if cheesecake produces bowel movements, then I'm in!

Kate--I don't have any belly pics, yet, but that's an idea--you posting for me. In fact, I don't think I have any pics of me pregnant this time around. I do have some non pregnancy pics that show the family, but it's hard to get everyone in one shot....

Stephanie--I'm sure it's not MRSA. The vet would have told you if that was the case, I think--poor dog--sounds really painful. I think I'm at least 50 lbs heavier than I was last summer, although I have not seen a scale reading for some time. I think that you could lose the weight by next summer--I usually lose it in about a year, although as I age, it's getting harder.

Mikkia--I am getting excited, but I still have a boatload of things to do before she comes--at least that helps the time go fast. The kids are very excited. Today ds almost 5 put his hand on my belly right on her little foot or something and she kicked him and you should have seen his expression--pure delight and amazement. He has not felt her yet because he lacks the patience to sit and wait for her to move. He thinks my belly is a big egg and the baby is in the egg....how old is your daughter? I'm sure she'll be learning a lot on baby care, especially since she sounds interested.

Hi everyone else--dh is off the phone and told me it was just a spirited discussion with some aide that wanted to engage. Hmmmm.....

Maggie:)
