I went to bed late and woke up early, but I am surprisingly awake and rested.

Chris and Collin already gave me my mother's day present a few days ago (when Chris gets me a present he canNOT wait, he literally has no self control). Remember those sunglasses that I got Chris for his birthday in March?

I feel in love with them and so I asked for a pair for myself for Mother's Day. Who knows what else the day will hold -- Chris is not really the creative type.

WO will be STS disk I-have-no-idea bis/tris/shoulders. Then probably groceryMAX and then spending as much of the day outside as possible planting flowers!

katie,osrry for the early am, but sometimes it is nice to just be up.

i too woke eraly but got in a nice long run outside. windy and cool here but we are going for apicnic, then will see my mom tonight. i hope it goes okay. my test is tomorrow - it is so i can get licensed in florida. i just need to pass:( so, study time for me later. katie, i have form fitting shorts for step, but i hate running in them as they chafe. i have a running skirt (unbelieveably comfy) and some drytech shorts i love. i hate it when something wears out as it is so hard to find the right thing.

Job hunt did not go well. McDonalds and other fast food employ 15 years old and the fashion stores employe 16 year olds. My DD was very sad because she will be turning 15 in Sept. Oh well.

I got coffee in bed, a book Milla made, and a decorative tile from Danica:) Heading over to my grandma's later this afternoon for dinner and the hockey game. Have to squeeze in STS 27 S/B/T before we go.

Robin, hope you're resting that back. Can dd babysit? I used to make awesome money doing that. She can maybe take a babysitting/cpr class to market herself?

I'm just relaxing today, but I have a bunch of errands to run. Laundry is almost done, so I better get to it! It was a long day yesterday, I didn't get home until almost 8. It was nice, for the most part. At one point, though, I was helping my mom get dressed and she picked up a portrait that sits on her bedroom dresser. It's of me and my siblings from several years ago. She said, "I don't know who these people are." As you can imagine, that kind of broke my heart. But, the good news is she was feeling very good yesterday and enjoyed herself a lot. She liked the restaurant we took her to, it has a beautiful view of the river and Canada.

Anne - Aw, Anne I'm so sorry about the pic and your mom. I'm glad everything else went well.

Morris - I buy a few of the same clothes when I find one that i really like if that made any sense.

Kate - Yay on the cookies! My DH won't blink an eye either while I'm drooling away. I promised dd I would make the donuts with her today so I need to stay strong.

I went for a run yesterday, and I'm feeling much better. I feel like I'm getting my running groove back slowly but surely. It was voggy and humid so it was hard to breathe, but it felt great otherwise. Not sure what we're doing today.

Hi Everyone!

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms.

I am back home but I am exhausted. We got an early wake-up call from my niece and my Mom didn't realize what time it was and got her up. My niece got a morning nap (she doesn't usually take one) but the rest of us didn't.

Anne, sorry about your mom not recognizing everyone in the picture.
Robin, sorry about your back. Hope you can take some medicine to get relief.
Lisa, congrats on getting your running groove back. Sorry the weather is not nicer.
Katie, nice mother's day gift. Did Chris and Collin do anything else special for you?

Klaudia, enjoy your day with grandma. I don't really follow hockey but the Capitols are in the playoffs so we might be rivals in a few days.
