Runcrazy

Cathlete
Good Morning,
I didn't see a thread so thought I'd get us started. Today begins my repeat week of Week 3 (Disc 7).

I'll check back later!

Jo :D

Hi girls,

I did CC V 2 this morning! I burned 588 cal. not bad! I also took my dogs for a walk. I still have to do abs today!

Jo, enjoy your workout!

Hi to everyone that follows!

Hi Everybody,

I'm getting a late start today. The time change has really set me back. Today is suppose to be my rest day, but we went out with friends last night and I overindulged a lot, so I'm feeling major guilt. I think I'm going to do some cardio, just haven't decided what yet!!!

Hope your foot is feeling better Jo. I broke the same bone in my foot twice, once running and once doing step cadio, so now I am very conscience of where my feet land when I'm running and stepping. I'm very sympathetic to anyone with foot issues.

I start Week 1 of Tape 4 tomorrow. Need to review my workout card so we can be prepared. I love having a schedule set for me, because on Mondays I have a tendency to take the easy road, and from what people are saying, Disc 4 is anything but easy, especially with the extra pushups. I guess I need to eat my Wheaties and get some extra sleep.

Enjoy your Sunday!!

Mary

Hello everyone. Today is my extra day for glutes and stretch max. I have not done it yet though. I just got back from skiing and I am so sore from Friday disc 6, deep in my glutes I am wincingwith every step I take. I have noticed people posting results after the first meso. I am repeating week 2 this week and other than pain I don't see anything yet. Have any of you taken note of your reults yet?

Hi guys,

it's a rest day for me. I just printed out my week 3 workout cards for Monday and the rest of the week. Telling from the last two weeks that I both repeated twice, my legs are still sore the second time around but not for as long as the first time.

As far as results go, I can tell I am feeling more strength doing the pushups and other exercises. However, I could just be doing so well because I am loving it so much, motivation goes a long way to breezing throught workouts for me.

I have felt some fatigue setting on though and it's due to my low hemoglobin and low red bloodcell count. So I am upping the red meat and iron to combat it because there is no way I want to slow down, I love being on this program and I am comitted to finishing it. It's a common pattern I have noticed before, that as soon as I work out more than 3 times a week ( I am now working out 6 times a week to get in enough cardio on top of the sts) my hemoglobin and red bloodcells go down. I have responded well to extra iron before so that is my plan for now.

Diet wise I have been following the BFFM guidelines and I can tell that I am leaning out nicely. My face is naturally thin and long, so people keep telling me I am getting too skinny. But I am finally starting to see some definition on those abs because the fat is going away. So I want to keep going :D

That's the results I have seen on me so far, and that is despite not going up 5% in the second week, I do it in smaller increments.

I also follow BFFM. I do 50 carb 30 protein and 20 percent fat on 1500 cal per day. I have been off of it for a while eating all kinds of junk. I am just getting back into BFFM. It makes a HUGE difference!!

I finished Disc 7 and am glad to be done with my 2 times with that workout! Not because it's bad, because I totally stink at the pushups. I haven't looked at Disc 10 but I hope there are a few less than Disc 7! Wait to you guys see how many there are! I can only do a handful on my toes and a little over half of the rest on my knees. So I commend and applaud any of you that can do all of them (even if just on your knees!) I can only aspire to be so good! :D

Mary, my ankle seems to be better. It's still not right but I have even less pain than yesterday. I tested it out by doing LIS and it was okay but doesn't feel totally right. So tomorrow instead of Imax I'm going to spin. The odd thing is I have a pin in my other foot from having broken it years ago and it's happy as can be!

Belinda, I'm caving and buying the CC's! I don't know how I've missed these all this time!

Cendrine, I am seeing changes in my shoulders but I haven't gained or lost weight or anything else that other people are experiencing. And, I am tired but that's because I'm pushing myself much harder than normal.

Soon2bfit, sounds like you got your extra leg workout skiing! Good for you! I know after some of those leg workouts my legs feel like cement! What is BFFM?

Jo

I forgot to add my actual checkin info: I did Disc 7 and Abs Circuit Medicine ball. Then I came back later and did LIS and the 3rd segment of Stretch Max (with the band). I don't normally have time to do this many workouts, but I did today and I wanted to test my ankle.

Jo,

BFFM is Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle a book by Tony Venuto a bodyy builder. Check it out! It is all about clean eating. It used to be available only as an Ebook but I believe it is now available in paper. Definetly worht the read.

Hi ladies--I did 4DS KB/BC cardio premix yesterday and worked up a good sweat. My arms were really protesting the pushups in drill #12, though as I had DOMS from the tricep work the day before. I ended up substituting plyo jacks instead. Today is my rest day. Tomorrow, I start the third leg of meso one: 2 weeks of disks 7, 8, and 9.

Kim--how did your first go around of disk 7 go? I start it for the first time Tuesday and I'm dreading those 180+pushups:eek:.

Jo--bummer about your ankle/shin. I'm always battling some sort of injury or other it seems and I try so hard not to get injured. Right now my right foot feels sore and not a good sore:(. I would love to get a spinning bike. Working on dh about that...

Mary--I love these forums because no one in "real life" except my dh shares my love and enthusiasm for working out, so I totally understand where you are coming from--I guess we all do or we wouldn't hang out here.

Hi Bayerngirl, hi soon2bfit, hi Gayle, hi Blessed, Hi Cendrine and everyone else--I'll eventually learn everyone who's in the check in:D.

take care all

Maggie:)
