6 Monthers STS check in WEEK OF MARCH 2nd

I would love to join this check in. I was originally going to do the 3 month rotation but yesterday I decided I would do the 6 month. I figured this will take me to just about my summer vacation. Then that will be my rest period. I also felt that a couple of the workouts I could have worked harder, so now I can go back and do that. I also did week 4 (back/tri) and couldn't get through all the reps with the heavier weight, so I am going back to week 2. Hopefully by the time I get back to week 4 I will be able to do the heavier weights. :D
Yesterday I did chest, shoulders and biceps and with my notes was able to kick it up a notch.

Ok change of plans....since yesterday was my sons birthday...I felt guilty working out and not spending his whole night with him so tonight I will do disc 7...
I will be back after my workout!!

Hey everybody! How's your day going so far???

I just wanted to log my extra cardio for today. I hit the ellip at the gym and did Cardio Coach Volume 2 (revised) for an awesome 37 minute workout! Awesome!!!

Belinda-we're trying to use one thread for the week and see how that goes. I saw your other post asking where I was! :) Good for Alesia and BF on P90X! And thanks for sharing that oven cleaner. It's high time I do mine, and I think I'll use your method this weekend!

Jo, I believe it was you who had asked in the STS forum the question that if you did not have the equipment for the pullups, was there an exercise substitute. I have the over the door resistance tubing that I use for myself, but the other ladies I work out with need an exercise to do during those segments. Did you ever get an answer?

I'm looking forward to tomorrows workout, because I really like working the tri's, especially with Cathe's new bands I purchased. The green band is a killer, and a few times I had to go down to the pink because I just couldn't get that green monster to move!!

Hi Everyone! I did Disc 8 today as well as Ab Circuits Weights and Plates. Ymary, I did get the Cathe tubing with the door attachment (just came Saturday) so I was able to use it today for the first time. Worked good! I want to get her bands but they are still sold out so have been using my green band from the HC series. I do need a heavier one as mine is very broken in! Oh, and I finally got a Cathe vest (came yesterday) that had been backordered at Amazon. Of course I don't really need it yet...but glad to have it!

I'm finally getting better with the plates on the Abs Circuit. It took a couple of times to get the feel down. I can't do all the moves exactly but as always - I'm working on it!

Meant to add - I'm also planning to do a little extra cardio on my spinning bike tonight while I watch Biggest Loser! :D:D

Im checkin in with my extra lower body day... I planned into adding 1 extra lower body each week.

I did Butts and Gutts today, 1 day of legs was not enougth for me... I love to work my lower body, so I added an extra lower body workouts, it will be 2 upper, 2 lower per week and cathe cardio suggestion....
, uff! this will take me into december!!! hehe and my "weeks" are longer than 7 days! hehehe

I was also doing the 3 months rotation, but after doing week 1, I felt in love with it.. I need to do the 6 monts and I will enjoy it. I will push my self even more on the sencond time arround, so welcome !
 
Hi everyone!
Today was disc 2. I didn't like the lat pulldowns with the band and my shoulders didn't either. I won't be doing those again. I hope I didn't screw up my shoulders. Tomorrow I'll know. Anyway so far I can tell STS is kicking my butt:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: Tomorrow is Cardio Fusion mixed cardio premix. Or at least that's the plan,;)

Hi ladies--It was disk 4 second time round today. I'm fighting off a cold/flu, so I felt a little weak, but I pushed through it. I don't want to get sick and screw up my rotation. I get a little anal about these things.

Next week, I'll start disk 7 with all those push-ups. Oh my....

Blessed--I'm on the second week of disks 4,5, and 6, so it's my 4th week of the 6th month rotation. I love, love, love STS!! The kids are fine, but fighting off some sort of bug. How's your little one?

Gayle--I love the whole set up thing of STS too and the workouts are just so fun--hard and challenging, but fun--the time just flies. This is some of the best money I ever spent.

Hi everyone else--I'm enjoying reading about all your workouts--the challenges and the accomplishments:D.

Did anyone take "before" pics? I did and they are scary as I have not lost all my baby weight yet. I will only post them if I have some good "after" pics in August:p:eek::p.

I just finished Disc 7...OMG all the push ups I think Cathe has lost her mind!!! My arms are soooo fatigued I can barely type. My Biceps are really pumped. Tomorrow I am doing Disc 9. We are going away this weekend and I want to make sure I get my STS in before we go. So Disc 8 will be thursday morning!!

I barely got through all those push-ups on Disc 7 (did it Sunday). In fact I did maybe half (maybe a couple more) but all on my knees. They were killer! I believe on Disc 1 and 4 I was able to some of them on my toes, but 7 took me out! But I loved the bicep work on 7!
