Hi Guys,

I did preview Rhythmic step yesterday and I did it this morning! Oh my gosh, this is one of my new favorites! Wow, how fun that was! I loved every minute of it! Lucky for me I have done Cathe cardio dvds that incoorporate some of the steps she used so my learning curve was pretty good. I really enjoyed it!

Rachel, I'm so sorry you have to be away from home for work, that kind of limits what you can do! In the past when I knew I was going to have to workout of a hotel gym, I made a transcript of sorts from some of my favorite cathe weight workouts, that way I had a list with me and could just go by the list of reps and exercises.

If I didn't have a list with me I would just go for three different exercises per muscle group, three sets of whatever reps (heavy, fewer reps, light, higher reps)
The othe thing you could do is print out an STS workout card, if you have access to a printer through the lobby or something and then just do an sts style workout in the weight room, since you have done it before you know how to do the exercises and should be ok.

I hope that helps. And cardio is cardio, anything that gets you sweating will be doing the trick....

How long do you have to stay at the hotel? I hope you get to go home soon!

Yesterday I took the kids in for their seasonal flu shot. I was rather shocked when the doctor told me she had had two swineflu patients in her office last week and that she had got sick as well as her daughter and her sister.... Interestingly enough the two staffmembers who are pregnant did not get sick. Lucky them! That was the closest to home the swine flu has come here... Kind of scarey, and no shots on the horizon until the 15th of October, and that is a maybe... Purell, here we come!

Oh Cendrine that is scary! We are working at a hospital and even thought the area we are in is new, I have to go into the hospital to use the restroom and I am always thinking about the swine flu. i think dh is really succeptible to things like the flu because he used to get it once a year. Now since he eats a tad bit healthier he does not get it as often. I have not had the flu ever I think. He got it one year wheen we were in Colorado and his fever was so high he was hallucinating and we had to go to the emergency room. That sucked but they gave him something and he recovered pretty quickly.

As far as this job goes...there is alot of work that needs to be done in a short amount of time. This one is in worse shape than the last one so that was kind of a shocker. But they are saying the governor is coming on the 28 th of september so there is an end in sight. We just have to work our butts off to make that happen.

I did bring my sts guide so I think I am going to take a work out from meso 2 legs for tomorrow. Seeing as how I had not ran on a treadmill in a hundred years the front of my calves and right where my ankels meet my feet are really sore. Sad huh!
I am trying to look at this in a positive light and think that when I get back home I will start the september rotation and I will be so ready to do body parts twice a week!

I hope all is well with everyone. Sorry this was all about me.

Have a good night!
Rachel

Rachael, have you thought about doing Body for LIfe workouts. That would fit great into a hotel weight room.

Oh, Cendrine, the H1N1 flu is so scary. I was at a meeting at the school tonight, and there was lots of talk about a pandenmic plan. Of course, the hospital I work at was hit very hard in the spring, we had a few deaths and tons of people of venitators so lots of meetings/planning going on about the fall flu season.
