I did preview Rhythmic step yesterday and I did it this morning! Oh my gosh, this is one of my new favorites! Wow, how fun that was! I loved every minute of it! Lucky for me I have done Cathe cardio dvds that incoorporate some of the steps she used so my learning curve was pretty good. I really enjoyed it!
Rachel, I'm so sorry you have to be away from home for work, that kind of limits what you can do! In the past when I knew I was going to have to workout of a hotel gym, I made a transcript of sorts from some of my favorite cathe weight workouts, that way I had a list with me and could just go by the list of reps and exercises.
If I didn't have a list with me I would just go for three different exercises per muscle group, three sets of whatever reps (heavy, fewer reps, light, higher reps)
The othe thing you could do is print out an STS workout card, if you have access to a printer through the lobby or something and then just do an sts style workout in the weight room, since you have done it before you know how to do the exercises and should be ok.
I hope that helps. And cardio is cardio, anything that gets you sweating will be doing the trick....
How long do you have to stay at the hotel? I hope you get to go home soon!
Yesterday I took the kids in for their seasonal flu shot. I was rather shocked when the doctor told me she had had two swineflu patients in her office last week and that she had got sick as well as her daughter and her sister....
Interestingly enough the two staffmembers who are pregnant did not get sick. Lucky them! That was the closest to home the swine flu has come here... Kind of scarey, and no shots on the horizon until the 15th of October, and that is a maybe... Purell, here we come!
