Hi Guys,

Saturday again already....

I am sooooo sore from plyo legs.... I skipped today's workout:eek:

Rachel, I think I know what I'm going to do for at last a couple of weeks after the June rotation. I am going to do 4DS, haven't done that in its entirety for a long time. Then after that I might do two weeks of the BM2,DM,
LIC and B&G, doing some kind of rotation with that, unless something else comes up....
 
Hey Sorry for the late post! I got up late and I had a hair appointment this morning so I did not get my workout in. I thought I might put it off till tomorrow but when i got home I felt pretty good so I went ahead with ME. That was my first time to do that one. It was a good workout. All those leg presses and LOW ENDS! LE's are super tough for me so I am glad I went with the weight Cathe was using. At first I thought it was going to be too light but boy was I ever wrong!.

After hair I needed to go to the grocery store but I did not have a list and and just could not think of anything for lunches and dinners. Since we work late it is kind of a fend for yourself thing around here during the week and I have all my meals still prepped in the freezer. On the weekend I try to at least make one 'Sunday Dinner' It could be on any day of the weekend that I feel like whipping up a big meal but it does most of the time fall on Sunday.

I had a cooking question for you Cendrine...The other day I watched and old Rachael Ray I had recorded and she did a mac and cheese based on Spinach and artichoke dip. I wanted to try and make it for a dinner we are going to tomorrow but I wanted to lighten it up. She made a cheese sauce using whole milk and I was wondering what would be the best sub for that. I was not sure if skim milk would add enough flavor but I was unsure of subbing ff evaporated milk and compromising the flavor. What would you do?
As far as a rotation goes I have not looked yet but I like your idea because I kind of want to get away from the sts workouts so when sts cardio comes out I will not be all burned out on them. I want to get the gym style workouts to incorporate them somehow. Cathe has so many dvds that I do not have. I am like you, even though I just got MM,ME and Step Blast,which I believe gave me 5 total new workouts, I still want more. I feel like now I need more weight workouts and then I will fell like I need more Cardio. Of course for that I am waiting for the sts cardio. Fall is right around the corner!

OK I have yammered on enough. I hope everything is alright with Gayle! I am sure Chrissy is just busy with school starting.

Hi Rachel,

I can't remember the last time I had whole milk in the house...LOL! I use fatfree milk in any recipe calling for whole milk. Yes, the lack of fat might affect the flavor some, but there should still be plenty of fat in the spinach dip, right? I'm not too much of a fan of evaporated milk, probably because I have not tried it enough. You could try some fat free cream cheese to make the sauce creamier...

Let me k now what you end up doing!

Today I decided to do Rhythmic Step; it's been a while and it was really fun! Then I had just gotten started with laundry and I did something weird to my hip!???! Yes, shooting pain in my hip and down my leg...so what was that all about? Anyway, it went on for about 2 hours and then stopped! I haven't a clue?!?!?!

Cendrine, I love 4DS and I think that was what I'd been doing before we started STS. I would rotate that with Xtrain Express. Glad plyo legs served you well!

Rachel, we're leaving again on Tuesday and going to MT. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and I can get some hiking and kayaking in! So I'm going to our friends there where I just was! Then when I get back (the following Monday) I'll work a couple of days and then am going to my mom's in Oregon for long Labor Day weekend. Then, back to work, and back on the workout trail!

Whole milk?? What's that? :D Oh, and it was about 70 today.
 
Kim, if you read this...have you seen the preview for the new BL? The guy that was from the orange team (was it Daniel)...the one that was really motivated is in the trailer. So he must be back with a new team member.
