Just thought I would get us started. It's the first day of holidays for me!! I don't have to be back at work until August 4th!:D:D:D
I was so excited to be finishing up work yesterday!
Of course this morning I'm up at 6am:rolleyes: Habits are hard to break. Today I got to take ds to his last day of hockey camp then the usual Friday stuff groceries, laundry ,etc Then tomorrow we leave for the lake.

Hi, Kim. ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAYS! That's a long break for you! TOTALLY enjoy it! So, now that you're done with STS, what's your plan, dear graduate? ;)

Today is a rest day for me, and REST I DID! I slept till 8:45 this AM! LOL Kids decided they wanted to go to the Rec Program, so we scrambled quickly, I put on a baseball cap and off they went. I'm going to hang laundry on the line then make a big soup with the fresh veggies I got this week. When kids get home it will be a quick lunch then DS and I are going to cut the grass (not so YUCKY now that I have help, lol). After we clean up, I'm going to take them to the fireworks store to pick up some fun stuff for the weekend (I NEVER buy this stuff, but I figured I could give in just ONCE, right?). Tonight is supposed to be the town's Block Party, but they're calling for SEVERE T-storms so I'm not sure if we'll walk there or not. Tomorrow is Nazareth Day which is our annual event at the local park with crafters, vendors, free swimming, car show, etc. That's why we want to cut the grass today so we can do THAT in the morning.

ANYWAY.......busy but easy day at the same time.

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I did Disc 16 - I'm really enjoying doing Meso 2 again! This one is where we start out with incline chest work and then go to flat bench. I struggled some by the time I got to the flat bench. (Was it this hard before? ) Well, chest work is always a struggle for me so no surprise I guess. I did great on shoulder and tricep work but I know I'm going to be sore again. Also, this is the week with the backoff sets. It just occurred to me: I wonder if this is harder because I'm not repeating the weeks...yeah...I'll bet that's it!

Kim, you enjoy your time! Hope the weather is great for you during your time off!

Gayle, enjoy your rest day - but as busy as you are ....is it? :p

I am on my way to the Dr for my annual and then to work. It's going to be 90 here today!

Hey, Jo. Disc 16 sounds great. I'm trying to decide if I want to do disc 16 or disc ONE tomorrow! Yup....considering doing disc 1! I've been checking into the undulating STS rotation and the science behind it and I'm intrigued. I'll think about it the rest of the day and will decide tonight which workout card I print off....but either way, I'm EXCITED TOO!

Grass is done! I'm ITCHING for cardio, ladies, but I will KEEP it a rest day. I'm going to dry my hair now and then taking the kids to the firework place.

p.s. Yummy Chicken Tuscan Soup is DONE!!!

Hi Girls,

I'm really being challenged doing the circuit workouts, because there are no rests in them...LOL! It's a shock training in it's own right, after having done sts... I feel good doing them though!

Just came back from Costco and the fridge and freezer are stuffed to bursting. I was excited to find some nitrite free bacon. I will use it in my crustless quiche experiments tomorrow. I also found crabmeat and am going to try a crab meat salad for the first time in my life! I hope we all like it!

Jo, congrats on the bicep doms, I have a hard time getting doms in my biceps, so when I get them, I kind of feel accomplished LOL! Are you doing the same weights as before or heavier? I'm sure not repeating every week makes it tough without even changing the weights at all! I think it's so funny how we met online and in fact have been in each other's 'neighborhood' before...LOL! It's a small world after all, hee, hee.

Well, I gotta go hit the regular grocery store for some things Costco didn't have, so I'll sign off. BBl

Hi everyone,
Today I did plyo legs. I did better than last week but still struggled thru 2nd half of workout. I needed a little longer breaks between some of the exercises. I really had trouble with the one-legged squat thrusts but I managed a few. Talk about a sweatfest. I followed up with Pilates ab workout. One more week of STS. :D
Well I need to finish a few things at work before I call it a day. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Cendrine, if it's the one I sometimes buy, it's the crabmeat in the container...over near the cheeses? Anyway, if it is, it is awesome! We buy it when we make crab louies! And yes, IT IS a small world!

Measuredoak - Oh how I struggled with those one legged squat thrusts! I did a handful, but had to change to traditional. So I know exactly what you're going through! But great job on it! Those Plyo leg workouts are tough! Tough tough tough!!!

Okay guys, it's 92 here (and or course we don't have air conditioning in the NW!). But in spite of my 85 degree kitchen, I must go fix some dinner! Sounds like a salmon salad night! Happy Friday Night!!!

Cendrine, I forgot to answer your question. I did up my weight a lb or 2 last week on shoulders and triceps, but was unable to do it on anything else. Today with Disc 16 I did the same weights I originally did....and it was every bit as tough as the first time I did it!

Jo, yes it's in a can by the cheese...LOL! So now I want to know what are crab louies? Can you share the recipe?

Measuredoak, those one legged squat thrust jumps or whatever they are called actually messed up my alignment in the pelvis... I had to get adjusted... so I did the two legged for the second round. Good job for working hard! I definitely finish soaking wet after plyo !

Imax 2 for me tomorrow and then lots of work, so am not sure whe I 'll be checking in.
